I visited this place today, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. I understand it's a busy tourist location, but there should still be a basic standard of service. We waited around 35 minutes for our order, standing near the counter with nowhere to sit or move. Oddly enough, when I went upstairs later, there were plenty of empty tables — the delay and crowding seemed to come entirely from the poor organization at the counter. One particularly unprofessional moment was when a waitress walked around the dining area trying to find the customer for a prepared meal. After failing, she placed it on my tray — clearly food meant for someone else. That’s unacceptable for any food service establishment. At the register, I had to remind the cashier four times about my employee discount (I work in the same building). She didn’t acknowledge me until I repeated it multiple times — it felt like I was being ignored. The food came without any utensils. I had to ask twice for a fork and knife, and even then, I wasn’t given a spoon for my coffee. Again, the staff seemed distracted, chatting among themselves instead of focusing on the customers. They kept repeating questions like what kind of milk I wanted in my coffee, as if they weren’t paying attention. Overall, the atmosphere was cold and disorganized. I didn’t feel like a guest — more like an inconvenience. In such a central, busy location, I expected much better. I truly hope the management takes these issues seriously and works on improving staff training and service standards.

This place is a living proof that in Europe customers are always wrong! I placed my order, and before I finished paying, my coffee was ready. Upon sitting down, I realized my coffee was room temperature cold, but I didn't say anything. Then, 25 minutes later, I reminded a passing team member to see if my order was ready. She brought it within a minute away, saying someone forgot to bring it out. My crepe order so late that the icecream on the crepe had melted, and the whole ensemble was soggy, because of which I asked for my coffee to be remade, so the manager came to speak with me, he didn't listen and started shouting at me in front of the crowd sitting near which was embarrassing. He said that I am complaining after I have already drank the coffee, and crepe is supposed to be warm, so ice cream would melt! I asked him if he didn't see a problem with this situation? he started yelling again this time, addressing the crowd. He tried to escalate the issue, not solve, here the staff are angry and overworked, anyway, I was offended and I lost my temper 😡 trust me, I am not proud of how I reacted... because of this heated encounter, he said, "I m not welcome there anymore, but surely, I won't be visiting again!" Nasty experience, simply the worst service ever! Could have been handled better 😒
