Unfortunately not a very positive experience for me. I was positive about Uniqlo at first. However, one pair of shorts already started to show a defect within three weeks. I went back to the store (within the timeframe stated for returns) to ask if there was a possibility of repair or return, but they refused. When I came back the next day, I asked again and insisted that I was not satisfied with their answer. Only after expressing my displeasure several times, I got to speak to a manager. He said that they wouldn’t help me as it was caused by ‘something external’. They did not explicitly say I damaged it myself, but this was more or less implied. Then they gave me contact details of their customer service department. In the end this department decided that the defect was not a fabrication error. What the cause was why this pair started to show rips after having worn it only a few times, they did not tell. The other two pairs, worn about the same amount of times are still usable and do not show these rips. The only option which was left was to seek dispute resolution, the customer service department told me. I said that I would not do this, as I thought it would be too time-consuming, would probably not lead to a different outcome and would not be worth it for an item that cost €24.90…So here I am, left with an unusable ripped pair of shorts, worn only about five times and the company won’t do anything to help and does not show any coulance or empathy. I would expect that an average pair of shorts can last a bit longer than three weeks….For me, it was the first and last time that I buy something at Uniqlo. Overall a very disappointing experience and no customer-friendly attitude or willingness...
Read moreRecently, I went to this shop to claim a sweater that I bought in April because due to usage had wholes under the armpits and the fabric looked bad on the outside. I managed to encounter a really bad "customer service" related manager, Tamara, that refused to take the sweater as a claim because it was more than a month ago. The sweater was not to be returned because I changed my mind but because the quality of the sweater was so bad that after few washes (keep in mind it has been summer and I didn't use it for months) broke. Her excuse was that I washed with a zipper, which I certainly did not and the wholes wouldn't look like that, or that I over used it these last 7 months that it broke. The moral of Uniqlo's shop is, that items are not to be used more than a month because they might break and then you cannot claim them. So, instead of being smart and maybe not give me the money because I didn't want that but have exchange with another item for the amount, keep the sale in the store and make a customer happy, she instead said she doesn't trust me, as a customer, to have washed this sweater properly (the instructions said 40 degrees so unless I washed it at 60degrees which it would show) and NOT use it too often. So obviously, this is their impression of customer service in the store, whilst explaining to me that she has sweaters like these and nothing happened to them, which is something I also learned to say to customer as a manager of a big chain store. Other than the fact that is cheap, this big chain has several items of extremely bad quality and on top of that, extremely bad customer...
Read moreI’ve been Uniqlo’s client since 2008, when I shopped in Soho. Since than I’ve been buying from you everywhere I travel, Paris, London, NYC... But... the worst ever happened in Barcelona, January 9th In 10 seconds a woman took my bag, with my passaport, an IPhone XR ( bought 12 days bafore, 200€, CC,Prada sunglasses ) a loss of more than 6000€ Besides me more than 2 employees witnessed, one of them could describe the thief with all the details, she has been behaving in a suspicious way before Instead of running to catch my bag, I trusted security and wrongly belived they would stop the thief by the door, the only door! My mistake. Security saw her leaving and didn’t do anything to stop her. He said, “ I didn’t have the description... The radio wasn’t working!!!! The worst was yet to come Samuel the supervisor said the ir was my fault Didn’t let the employee who witnessed everything give me her name Turned his back and walked au-au His main worry was to make me leave the store and avoid anu noise Said that the police station was a just 10 minute walk ( it was more tham 15’ Taxi cab ride, very cold night) The least Uniqlo can do is to check the facts. Ir happened on January 9th, 2019. Passeio de Gràcia, Barcelona at 7PM, on the first floor, right in front of security camera Security people are there just to avoid shoplifting The clients aren’t important. They only care about our money. In my case, there was no money left they wanted me out of the store...
