Brunch & Cake in Barcelona has stolen my heart with its exceptional coffee and delectable brunch menu. The coffee is so good that I find myself coming here almost every day just to savor its rich flavor. Even without indulging in a full meal, the coffee alone is worth the visit.

Their brunch menu offers a delightful range of high-quality dishes that cater to all tastes. My personal favorite is the Eggs Benedict with Bacon served on avocado or bread—a heavenly combination of perfectly poached eggs, crispy bacon, and creamy hollandaise sauce. But there's something for everyone, ensuring a memorable culinary experience.

What truly sets Brunch & Cake apart is their warm and welcoming staff. Every visit is greeted with genuine hospitality, and I must mention Pablo, who took the time to introduce himself and always engages in small conversations with me. Their attentive service adds an extra touch of charm.

This place is called either Travel & Cake or Cup & Cake. Brunch & Cake is on Carrer Enric Granados.

Brunch & Cake, Cup & Cake, Travel & Cake - all sister restaurants. The Brunch & Cake on Carrer Enric Granados is the busiest one. I came there at 1:30 pm and was told the wait time was 1.5 hours. We walked to the next location (Travel & Cake) on Rosello and the wait was 30 minutes.

Service is a bit slow. I could see that the host was seating tables as well as bussing tables. If they had another employee, tables could do a faster turn around time. When we finally sat down, we got our menus right away but then took about 10 minutes to order.

We ordered a bottle of cava (not bad for 14.50€ but when the server opened it, a good portion spilled out. Guess she needs to brush up on those bottle opening skills.

Every plate that was brought out looked amazing. I give it A+ for plating. The portions are huge. The menu is constantly changing and please note they do NOT do modifications.

My recommendation: shrimp with lobster hollandaise sauce with salad on black bun.

We are a couple of international professionals who love the brunch concept and when we saw the ratings, couldn’t resist. But …. OMG WHY??!! Why do people love that place? 1-Found a bug and had to ask the waiter to kill it (let’s not say what time of bug 🤢) 2- they are obsessed with people seating in big tables to the point where we spent the entire Brunch listening to them talking trash about customers who sat on a table they didn’t like … how dare they seating in a table for 4 when they are only 2???!!! THE PLACE WAS EMPTY!!!! Thank God we didn’t upset them 😂 3- Food isn’t great for the price. Very average . Eggs overcooked and hummus too salty . Small portion big price.They also didn’t have available what we wanted to eat. Neither Shakshuka nor doughnuts !!!!
