Buenas Migas — Restaurant in Barcelona

It's not often that I'm so impressed by a place, that I decide to write a public review, but my experience here needs to be shared, in the hopes that others can benefit from it somehow.

I popped in yesterday morning, and was extremely impressed by the atmosphere, decor, cleanliness, product variety and most importantly, the service. The gal behind the counter greeted every customer as soon as they walked in the door, took the orders efficiently and prepared the items with grace and courtesy.

My café con leche and raisin focaccia was outstanding and reminded me of an old Italian bakery in San Francisco.

Many businesses make feeble attempts at providing a level of customer service similar to that of the USA, however, this place hit a home run.

I wish them much success with this venture and I look forward to going back again...perhaps this weekend with...

Called in ten minutes to Ten to be told that they close at half 10 and that we would have to eat out of takeaway containers because they didn't want to wash any dishes even though it states here and on the website that they open till 11. I was then told that they could only microwave food for us and that the Focaccias were no longer available and the ovens were off. Clearly they are making enough money to treat regular customers like that. I was shocked and disappointed to be honest. The best part was that we were the only two people in the whole café. Definitely room for improvement. Plus it should be stated in a clear manner on a notice or sign when the hot food is no longer...

Soy cliente habitual de este Buenas Migas. La música es buena y tranquila, las chicas y chicos atienden rápido, son eficientes y lo preparan todo bien, cuidando los detalles pequeños y mostrando educación y destreza.

Las bebidas y comidas son geniales, fuera de lo habitual (nada de bollería aburrida y sosas pastas genéricas) y con cosas únicas, pero con los clásicos de siempre también.

El servicio es excepcional y escucha cualquier queja o sugerencia, siempre se muestran simpáticos y atentos, se nota que quieren dejarte satisfecho. WiFi gratuita, self-service de salsas, condimentos mermeladas y aderezos de calidad y buen sabor.

Variedad para todos los gustos en dulce y salado, en caliente y frío, con música a buen volumen y con temas bien escogidos, se va a pasar un bue rato y trascender el mero "acto de tomar café".

Ofrecen los periñodicos del día, y hay una tarjeta de cliente habitual con la que por cada diez cafés te regalan uno gratis. Siempre pido Americano, Con Leche o Americano con hielo pero los tés e iinffusiones son también un acierto.

Para pegar bocado, la focaccia de toda la vida, con pasas y las mermeladas que tu quieras es un desayuno apetitoso. Para cenar o comer sus focaccias saladas, como la de salmón o la vegetal, son una buena y más que suficiente cena.

Qué más decir, me encanta el lugar y sus empleados y empleadas!! Recomiendo totalmente para ir solo o acompañado, con la pareja...
