An authentic Barcelona gem! This restaurant showcases truly sublime food in a seemingly humble charcuterie shop, they show a lot of respect for preserving the integrity of the ingredients used in their dishes.

Quality is appreciated both visually and on the taste buds, the food is cooked perfectly with a great sense for balanced flavors in their style of subtle but effective seasoning. No matter what you choose to order from the menu, most dishes deliver to a point where they could set a standard that is really hard to compete with.

To round it up, the service is always friendly and efficient, which makes you feel well taken care of.

We had an amazing dinner experience as a family. I recommend making reservations, however, we arrived without one and Alex was kindly able to accommodate us. The wine, the food, the friendly and knowledgeable staff were all wonderful. We ventured off menu and had the “pulpo a feira” (full octopus grilled on a hot stone plate, pictured) which was one of the best meals I’ve had. Although, the table next to us ordered the “shareable 1kg burgers” which is definitely something I’ll try next time I’ll go back because I’d love to visit again! Amazing experience overall. Great experience at Casa Palet. It is true that it is quite expensive, but it is also true that every single dish was extremely good, from their very especial "ensaladilla rusa" yo to their home-made desserts like the cheesecake.

Wine list is quite extensive although, as usual, quite overpriced.

In any case, definitely worth the experience.
