Terrifying Experience in Barcelona – Beware of Thieves!

I had an absolutely horrible experience on the beach in Barcelona that ruined our entire trip. My 12-year-old son was traumatized after a professional thief on an electric scooter snatched a 15-gram gold chain straight from his neck in broad daylight. It happened within seconds—he had just walked a few steps away from us when the thief struck.

We immediately chased after him, but he was too fast. What shocked me even more was the complete absence of police on the beach. I screamed for help, but there was no one around to intervene. Later, I read that Barcelona ranks #1 in Europe for theft, and now I understand why. It seems like these criminals operate freely, knowing there is little to no law enforcement presence to stop them.

After this horrifying incident, we were too afraid to even hold our phones in our hands, constantly paranoid that we would be the next victims. This was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, but instead, it turned into a nightmare. I will never return to Spain again. If you're traveling to Barcelona, be extremely careful—this city is overrun...

After one week in Barcelona we visited this destination: Unfortunately I have to obmit that ALMOST ALL STREETS OF BARCELON ARE A SMELLING LIKE A HORROBLE GARBAGE DUMP!! Reasons: Almost every street in Barcelona stinks after human piss, dog poop, exhausts, mould, chlorine, smoke and/or marihuana. You can make a sad game by hopping from one cigarette on the ground to the next, I bet you will make it from one side to the other side of the city. Because nearly all smokers here put their cigarettes directly to the ground.

I would not visit this city again and can‘t recommend it despite it has the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen, a very good bus system and a beginning of other environmental friendly transport systems.

I think the mayor here must be sick to not give every guy a 100.000€ fine who is pissing/rubbishing/throwing their rubish into the streets of Barcelona. Today it is used as a garbage dump. It seems the mayor and the city parliament don‘t want to change...

There is never a good time for construction works but what kind of person orders the escalators removed towards park güell in the height of tourist season and summer. Never mind the workers having to work in the heat I had to push a wheelchair up the hills on pavements that only a tank would be happy on. The ramps on the pavements are two steep and the pavement before angled sharply.

I had a full workout ensuring my partner did not fall out the chair.

I never expect wheelchair friendly but when you know there is escalators but have a decent climb before, only to arrive and find them ripped out without any notices it was sickening.

Nice planning. The person in charge should have a nice pat on the back while he looks over the works at the top of the hill where the...
