Ede Nova is more than just a restaurant for us—it is a place where homesickness melts away with every bite. As someone whose culture shares so much with this cuisine, walking into this restaurant feels like visiting a beloved uncle’s kitchen. The food here is not just cooked; it is made with care and love, just like back home.
For those missing the flavors of Eastern cuisine or simply wanting to explore its richness, this is the spot in Barcelona. The shashlik (grilled meat skewers) is grilled to perfection—juicy, tender, and smoky, just the way it should be. And the manty (steamed dumplings)? Oh, do not even get me started—big, soft dumplings that feel like warm hugs on your plate.
The lagman noodles are like a comforting conversation with an old friend, and every sip of tea adds a perfect touch to the experience. There is nothing pretentious here, just authentic flavors and the kind of atmosphere that makes you linger longer than you planned.
If you are looking for a genuine taste of home or are curious about trying authentic Eastern cuisine, you have to visit Ede Nova. It is not just food; it is a cultural embrace, one delicious dish at a time.
Trust me, whether you are here for the grilled skewers, steamed dumplings, or just the nostalgia, you will leave full—both in heart...
Read moreOur visit to EdeNova was one of the most interesting one in Barcelona.
That day we wanted to enjoy some Georgian food and went to a restaurant called Supra that was recommended to us by a local friend.
We were greeted with a cold and condescending welcome, when two people, probably from the restaurant staff, were standing at the entrance smoking, so that all the smoke went inside. The place smelled like a club and the attitude was cold and condescending as mentioned.
We decided within 10 minutes to leave before even ordering a drink.
In that sense, our arrival at EdeNova was probably the directed hand of the universe to correct the strange experience we experienced in supra.
We were greeted with a warm and pleasant welcome, we received a detailed explanation of all the dishes and we received cocktails that were clearly made by professionals.
The Bukhari food served to us was delicious, very fresh and with very special flavors.
As mentioned, the atmosphere was perfect and we felt at home there (only with much better food :)
Thanks to Yael and Teddy, we ended our day perfectly.
We will definitely...
Read moreWe were on vacation and wanted to try seafood. I found this restaurant very taste-full both food and atmosphere wise so I thought to share my experience.
Walking in, the restaurant staff kindly seated us on 4seats table though we were 2.(She said you’ll need the space😉and turned out we needed the space for the big paella pan!) She was able to speak both Spanish and English and since I cannot understand Spanish, I appreciated her talent so much. Ordering went smoothly thanks to her.
We ordered: tea, Prawn salad, grilled octopus and paella. All the food was justly seasoned. Not too salty, you could taste the goodness of seafood and vegetables. I did not taste any bad smell of seafood at all meaning their food was all fresh. One thing if there’s any improving point, a lot of prawn in Spanish restaurants seems to be cooked without their guts taken out. If they did that, they will be the best seafood restaurant in Spain for sure in my unsolicited opinion. This restaurant was squeaky clean, beautifully set, customer service was flawless and their paella was...
