FOODY VIET - Vietnam Authentic Restaurant — Restaurant in Barcelona

Hello everyone! I would love to share with you my experience in a great new Vietnamese restaurant «Foody Viet». If you would like to try exceptional Vietnamese cuisine or if you already a fan of Vietnamese food, this place is definitely for you.

I went to this restaurant already three times and every time they consistently showing good quality of service, tasty food and authentic atmosphere of Vietnam.

The servers are attentive and always happy to help you to choose the dish if you have doubts.

Food is excellent and you would surely find a dish to any taste: spicy, sour-sweet, tender or grilled. Moreover, the portions are quite big, so you will definitely not leave this place being hungry. Price level is also very generous, especially now when they have a discount due to the opening. I eat 2 dishes + drink for just about 20 euros, so be fast to visit till they still have such an offer!

I love decorations of this restaurant as well. Every detail works on making you dive onto Vietnamese atmosphere. Especially I like their celling and small fountain with Buddha.

To sum up, this place is worth visiting, and I would definitely put it into my list of best Asian restaurants...

Honestly one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I have ever had in all my years of travel. I am all over the world for my job and in every city I meticulously seek out authentic Vietnamese food. Every single thing about this experience was amazing. The place is very western friendly and commercial in appearance but for those people who only think an authentic vietnamese restaurant has a number in the name, you will definitely be surprised by the proper cooking and clean presentation of their food. They have all of the most common dishes BUT they have wonderful specialties along with everything you would find at a viet/fusion restaurant. The great news is that every single thing I tried was authentic and the staff was just lovely! The prices of the dishes were correct and not too expensive and you definitely got a proper portion for your money. I love Vietnamese food more than just about anyone and I love this place! After eating our way through Barcelona, we were happy to discover Foody Viet on our second to last day. As an added bonus, it was around the block from our hotel. From the moment we stepped inside, we were warmly welcomed and we were amazed by the extensive menu! From appetizers, to noodles, rice dishes, and vegetarian options - there’s something to please everyone. We had the bun bo hue, beef pho, bun cha Ha Noi, bun thit nuong, various rice dishes (seafood mix, salmon with tamarind sauce, sweet and sour pork). Every single item was perfectly seasoned, well-presented, and most of all delicious! We were so pleased with our initial dinner, we came back the next night as our last dinner before flying out.
