Gravin — Restaurant in Barcelona

Sometimes these google ratings can be a bit of lottery, but in this case they probably under-rate this restaurant. We walked in on a Tuesday evening at 9 and were lucky enough to get an outside table for 2.

The service was welcoming and friendly, the menu varied without being huge, and a very solid wine list. Prices are very reasonable.

But the real reason to come here is the pasta. Perfectly cooked fresh-made pasta with sauces to die for. Both the creamy lemon with Hake and the mushroom and salsiccia were spectacular. This food is the equal of any Italian restaurant I’ve been to and that includes the best that Italy and Australia have to offer.

We were looking for a family friendly restaurant in the old town of Barcelona on a busy Friday evening and found Ristorante Grivin. We were not disappointed. Possibly the best Italian food we've ever eaten, and we've spent time in various regions of Italy. Great service, amazing food, and the best pasta we've tasted. It is a nice Italian restaurant in Barcelona. It is a bit expensive but nice and fair enough especially for dinner if you would like to have a light dinner. Meals are in small portions but fair. We ordered the menu of the day so we had nice starters, main course and sweet. About starters they were very fresh and tasteful, the main courses were fresh but they were nice, about sweets unfortunately they weren’t be fresh enough (probably from the last day).
