We came here for a game night, and were told right before the game that we had to leave. We ordered a lot more than we wanted for the courtesy of being able to watch the game. It was proven not worth it.

They kept saying you have to make a reservation for the game, and so we did. The lady tried pulling it out from the system (which she didn’t open in the first place until I asked!) and regardless of having a reservation or not, she said “But you see, it’s full” - it wasn’t, there were two empty tables. If you want people to make reservation then keep good track of your reservation system. You cannot be just picking customers whoever you want.

Now thinking back, the bill was also strange. We were charged for about 23-25 tapas among many other things we ordered. The bill was nearly 100 euros altogether and about $59 were tapas (counted by tooth picks). There were three of us. I had 3-4 tapas, and the other two friends definitely didn’t have 10 tapas each. We kept our toothpicks very neatly in a plate - it was a lot less than 23-25. It was also strange because she took the plate away to count, instead of counting in front of us (which they did to the other table). We didn’t think much on the spot, but now thinking back, something was off about this place.

To be fair, the food wasn’t bad, the vermouth was good, the service was fine -...

I stumbled on this place while exploring El Born. The food was fresh, great and beautifully presented. I couldn’t walk past and not try something. I’m glad I did because it was delicious.

I’ve given service three stars compared to other similar places. The person who served us was a little rude and it felt like an effort to answer questions about the food. He also gave free croquettes to everyone except our table. The person’s attitude slightly impacted the atmosphere, which was four.

But, overall, it is definitely worth a visit and eating...

If you want stale bread, very rude staff, dirty floors and tables this is the absolutely place for you. One “waitress” in particular couldn’t care less if she served you or not and when you finally did get her attention she could not have been more disinterested in what you were asking for. Perhaps she should consider a career away from the public as well as considering washing her clothes once in a while. Used this place a lot as I live locally and as always been a bit “hit and miss” sadly my support of this local business will no...

Omg. Had a disastrous tapas at another place nearby and decided to change venue and boy it was the best decision. The gambas ala planca is to die for!!! Quite pricy for a small portion but it’s ok. Coming back next to try more. 5 stars. And now I’ve been back for more than I can remember. Their tapas and pinchons are so delicious and fresh! Perfect everytime. The waitress knows me by now and she is so lovely and very friendly. My favourite basque restaurant here in bcna😻🥰
