I was really surprised by how bad this experience was, even though there were so many good reviews, we came on a recommendation, and overall during our week in Barcelona we didn’t find a place we didn’t like.

Prices. OK for a trendy specialty coffee shop in the center. Not OK for such an amount and taste of coffee.

Service. All three of us didn’t like the way the staff treated us. After the barista took my friends’ order, they were told to stand to the left of the register and wait. The place was empty and they weren’t bothering anyone. Why would they tell them where to wait for their order? I wasn’t told that.

Waiting time. I got my Batch Brew right away and it had time to cool down while we waited for two more cappuccinos and a latte. They didn’t have any other orders but ours.

Portion size. Usually XL is 250ml and up, their XL is what other coffee shops consider a standard portion. A cappuccino comes in a tiny little cup.
