Very disappointed, I booked a table for 10pm, unfortunately the show in where my partner and I attended to finished at 10 so I called to apologise for the inconvenience and also to make sure that the table was still available for us. The waitress at the phone told me not worry and that the table was ready for us. In less than 15 minutes (12 minutes to be exact as I have the hour of the call recorded in my phone and I was driving a bike so basically I reached, not even at 10.15 pm). Once in there the waitress who attended us said to wait a sec so that she could prepare the table, there was one table empty already but we waited for courtesy as the girl told us. We stood in the 30 minutes waiting while watching a group of people taking seat in a free table which had a metal sign of "reservado" just on it. When after 30 minutes the waitress came, she told us that there were no tables available and that we had to wait a little bit longer. I worked for many many years in bar and restaurants and professionally speaking and as a client it has never happened to me that clients book a table, call to ensure that everything is ok (apologising for the time) and after all (and they coming only 10 minutes after the booked hour) they don't have a table. It is shocking and very unprofessional. I mean, they could have just said at the phone that the table wasn't available and that's all without making us losing time and money (as we reached the place by motorbike). I used to go with friends and my partner and the service has never been specially fast (they are a bit slow and distracted) but it is a very cute and relaxing place to go and the food is nice. Nevertheless, after last night I won't go and I won't recommend it to...
Read moreWe absolutely love this place. We came here when we were close by and remember it from months before. We honestly don’t know why we don’t come here more often. It’s definitely worth a bus trip. The terras is under umbrellas and is nice and open. A lovely breeze came from the sea direction what gave a great break from getting slowly cooked in the heat in the city. The wine here was lovely and not expensive. We also had some post-diet nachos for my day off and they were super. We had ‘plain’ what only means we didn’t have any of the choices of meat on it. It didn’t come ‘plain’ though. Plain would be last thing I would call these amazing slices of happiness covered with generous topping of guacamole, beans, salsa and sour cream. I left the best till last: perfectly grilled cheese 🤩. I still hear distant sounds of a Macarena band in my head when I think back of it. It would have been very rude to not finish our stay with a cocktail…. Or 2. We had a Bloody Mary and O.M.G did I miss having a spicy (I asked) Bloody Mary in warm weather. We wil definitely be back to sample all the other wonderful dishes that passed us when we were there. Stunning fully packed sandwiches and salads. The girl/woman that was serving was super friendly too so a win win win win if...
Read more12 EUROS UN MOJITOOO!!!!!
