I recently had the pleasure of dining at Monk, and I can't say enough about the incredible experience we had! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome by our exceptional waiter, Alessandro. Originally from Italy, his infectious enthusiasm and passion for hospitality were evident as he walked us to our table.

We decided to entrust our meal choices to Alessandro, and what a fantastic decision that was! Each dish he selected for us was a delightful surprise, showcasing the creativity and flavor that Monk is known for. It was clear that Alessandro takes pride in his work, and his thoughtful recommendations only enhanced our dining experience.

As we enjoyed our meal and drinks, it was heartwarming to see Alessandro seamlessly connect with other tables, spreading his wonderful energy throughout the restaurant. His personality truly shone, making the entire atmosphere feel vibrant and welcoming.

I promised him this review weeks ago, but I recently returned from my honeymoon, and I'm thrilled to finally share our experience. If you’re looking for a cool and amazing vibe with exceptional service and delicious food, look no further than Monk. Thank you, Alessandro, for making our visit so memorable – we can’t wait...

Do not go here! This place does not live up to the hype at all! There is a line in front of the bar; when they let us in we wanted to sit at the bar and they banished us to a second room which is sort of a club. They randomly let people in without checking if there is enough space for everyone which led to an overcrowded place with not enough seating opportunities. We wanted to go here for the cool cocktails, however in the „club“ area, there is no such thing. They have cocktails on tap with barely any variety which are expensive nonetheless!! There were literally people coming into the „club“ who made disgusted faces when they saw the situation and left right away. When we asked if there is a possibility to sit in the actual bar, the staff member just said something along the lines of „no, we’re only letting people into the second room“ without offering any explanation on why that might be the case. The only thing that Was alright was the ambience, everything else was less than mediocre. Would not recommend. If you want to go to a bar with a similar concept, rather go to paradiso. It’s way better with friendlier staff and you won’t feel like a...

Out of this world experience with this speak easy! From the moment we sat down at the bar, we were blown away with the level of service this place provided. Immediately provided with cups of water without asking and allowed a few minutes to look over their beverage options. After we ordered (their old fashions were excellent), we proceeded to watch how entertaining the bar tenders were. They were all smiling, laughing, dancing, and creatively making their drinks. It was like a free show! What stood out the most to me, was that our water glasses never went empty. No matter which employee was serving you, they all collectively kept your water glass full. This speaks volumes to their attention to detail and really showcases how well they train their staff. Prices were high but absolutely worth every penny. If I were to guess, the targeted age group for this speakeasy is under 35 as the music is more club like. Will be too old to come back the next time I visit but wish this a...

As a Black/African/Afro American individual, I unfortunately did not feel welcome at this bar. The security team was kind and professional, but once inside, my husband and I were repeatedly ignored by the staff when we asked to be seated for drinks. Despite asking the manager twice, he prioritized seating other guests who arrived after us and did not have a reservation. Additionally, although the bartender claimed no one could sit at the bar, we observed several others seated there. The entire experience left us feeling neglected and mistreated. I strongly felt that our treatment may have been influenced by bias, which was extremely disappointing. I won't be returning. I do not recommend this place to other Black/African/Afro American for I fear they will be mistreated also.
