We had dinner there recently and overall we had a positive experience. The food was tasty and fresh, my favourites were the scallops nigiri and the okonomyaki. We were not rushed to leave as other people mentioned (we knew we had a slot of 2 hours to eat which was more than enough), and the waiters were nice and friendly.
There are a couple of small things that I would point out for improvement:
The design of the menu. There were some colours used (like the orange of some text) that makes it difficult to read, also we didn't realised from the menu that there was a tasting menu options, not sure if we have not seen it or if it was mentioned somewhere else, but would have been nice to put some emphasis on it (maybe first timers would prefer to have a tasting menu if they do not know what to order).
Portion size. The okonomyaki was very tasty, but very small, and the rolls were 4 or 6 pieces max (which is normally the half roll size). I do understand that the costs are rising for all the businesses but there could be a compromise in some of the dishes that have a lower cost (like the okonomiaki) to be slightly larger.
Said that, we will certainly come back as we want to try the other cooked dishes, since the food was...

We dare to say that this is the best Japanese restaurant we tried in Barcelona so far, this is a golden star and totally deserved the 5 🌟
To start with, the services was in spanish and English , the staff was SUPER friendly and made the experience even better.
The ambiance is very relax and the decor was gorgeous. We recommend to book a table since it’s very popular from what we noticed.
The cuisine was fabulous, the fish 🐟 was melting in our mouths, it was so refreshing and a delectable experience . The price was very reasonable for the quality of the ingredients.
Even the condiments, like wasabi and ginger, did not disappoint.
The only thing we didn’t like has much was the gyozas, they weren’t crispy enough, but the rest was 10/10.🥟
We went to Japan twice, we are very picky with sushi, but this was truly very close to the experience we had there and it’s totally worth the mention !
We will definitely come back...
Read moreHidden gem of Gracia! This is a super low key spot hidden within one of the best neighborhoods in Barcelona. Super legit Japanese vibes (actually has a very oriental industrial feel with narrow corridors with wood and cement minimalist surfaces).
Food is super and the winner for me was their “tataki”, “tarummaguro”, and the best matcha cheesecake ever!! The staff are extremely friendly (thank you Joaqin) and the sushi itamae (chef) is super good 😊. This is not a place to miss and I assure you that you will find that one special dish that will make you...
