We got the Paella Senhioreta for 4 people and it came burnt and super salty. Good quantity, had ok amount of seafood but the amount of salt ruined it. We made a note to the waiter about the salty food and instead of taking the feedback he made it sound that we don't know how the Paella should taste. The waiter said in our face that if 98% of people say is good but 2% say is not, who should they believe. So basically calling all 4 of us liers. The waiter failed to have in consideration that not everyone ate from the portion we received and I worked in a lot of kitchens to know that mistakes can happen. Besides this the Aperol spritz has the wrong quantity of Aperol...as the drink had 0 taste of Proseco and a strong taste of Aperol. We understand that Aperol might be cheaper but a drink's recipe should be respected. And to end, the QR code menu from the terrace tables had cheaper prices as it seems that they have a 10% extra for serving on the terrace. You should change your QR code menu to reflect the accurate prices as the false advertsing is...

I had a very disappointing experience at Kook Restaurant. The service was terrible— the waiters had no interaction with customers, not even asking about satisfaction or offering any smile or conversation. They just show you to your table and bring the food. The bill is even paid online at the time of ordering, which felt very impersonal. The instructions I provided when ordering online were completely ignored. My drink, which I specifically asked to be served without ice, came with ice. The medium steak and burger we ordered were served completely raw— the steak was terrible so undercooked it was inedible. To make matters worse, there was no proper knife to cut the steak, just a regular dinner knife. The steak remained despite all our efforts to cut it. Serving such a steak in the North America would be a complete disaster for any restaurant. On a positive note, the salad was good. But overall, the lack of communication from the waitstaff made the atmosphere very cold and unwelcoming. It was by far the worst experience we’ve...

Horrible service. (nice decoration=tourist trap) We chose this restaurant as it was late around 22.00 and were afraid others would have the kitchen close.

The waitress told us we could order without warning they were about to close.

In the middle of the diner we got the bill, had to pay while eating, then the light of the terrasse shut down as we were being rushed to finish eating, they started pilling up the tables and chairs asking us to leave while i hadn't finished drinking and hungry for more.

This kind of poor service behaviour is usual in Barcelona and especially annoying when happening in tourists restaurant

Overpriced: We paid 45€ each for 1 tapas, 1 main dish each and a bottle of wine to share. I like salt but the shrimps were overcooked and too salty.

10 years I live in the area, my intuition was right not to try it earlier.

Next time I'll stick to Snack 55 or Parking Pizza. At least they dont pretend having elegance there and we have better food and lower prices, hence the...

I went to this restaurant because it had great reviews, but I was really disappointed with the food and service. We ordered a dish called navajas a la plancha, but it smelled bad and tasted even worse. The staff admitted it was spoiled. Then, all the prawns we had were gritty with sand, which ruined dishes like Gambas al ajillo and even the seafood rice. Despite being told the prawns were fresh and the grit was just seasoning, it was hard to believe, especially since it was expensive. We also had a problem with our order when the waitress forgot to include our Caesar salad, and we ended up not getting it at all. At first, we were getting along well with the waitress serving our food, but by the end, she seemed uninterested in our feedback. The only good parts were the patatas bravas and the calamares a la andaluza. We spent the whole time wondering about the freshness of the ingredients and worrying if we'd get sick. Overall, it was a really bad experience.

I never thought I would have a frozen and dried lobster stew as my lunch in Barcelona. And yet, it was a fancy decorated restaurant. When I asked the waiter why the lobster was as dry as paper, he couldn't explain it, so he asked the chef, then he told me because the lobster was frozen. I don't know how long it will take for the lobster to dry as taxidermy. Although it's not illegal to use dry and frozen lobster in a dish, but...it's definitely not delicious and honestly I couldn't even eat. The restaurant gave us a discount price, due to we didn't really eat the food. I felt so bad...it was me asked my Spanish friend to go there with me...I expected the food would be good, but no.

Not service or customer-oriented We made a reservation at Kook to celebrate the birthday of a friend. At 22:00 the WATER SPRINKLERS (not rain) suddenly started and we were all wet.. See picture The staff did not feel sorry or offered any concessions and even the birthday cake was not on the house - I never saw that a birthday surprise from a restaurant was on the bill.. the staff said we needed to wait 5min for the water sprinklers to stop - but even then the table and seats would have been wet. We were offered a table inside which we rejected as we were very disappointed from the service.. Unfortunately this ruined the birthday celebration.
