Really horrible experience here.

THE WAITERS/WAITRESSES Waited in line to get a table and was ignored for about 10mins when there were plenty of tables available for sitting inside... Then had to flag a waiter down to order, they were all just chatting amongst themselves. I then ordered water... After waiting 5mins it didn't come.. it was a very hot day so I was desperate, I ended up walking up to the bar and asking for some water... The woman looked at me very confused... I then said aqua please and she was like ahhhhhh okay. As if she's never heard the word water before working at a very touristy restaurant with American food on the menu and such... It felt like she was trying to make me feel unwelcome there.. which is exactly how we felt so congratulations 👏🏼

THE WATER ISSUE We ordered water which says 2 euro per person... But they only gave us one bottle... But if you come in alone they give you a bottle so it's a rip off unless you and your friends sit at different tables... So if a group of 4 people order water they will be charged 8 euro for the same amount of water one person sitting alone pays 2 euro for.... Big flaw in that guys...

THE FOOD For the price... MEH. Nothing special. I ordered the nachos... Which were supposed to come with beans and didn't. The guac was not fresh and they used some fake American cheese that looked like plastic.

I understand there's a lot of anti tourism going on in Spain at the moment however this was bad... And from I can see from the reviews it's been this way for a while. Don't know how this place is still open honestly... And with...

HURRIED SERVICE, ASKED TO LEAVE, OK FOOD, GOOD JUICES, NOT AGAIN I went there for brunch. I have to admit, the juices section was fantastic, the option of going large for 1 euro more is something a lot of places should do. I have to say the start was fantastic. However, we ordered pancakes and I ordered eggs on toast with Avocado. The eggs were poached well, but the toast was cold, and as a result very soft. It was next to impossible to cut with a knife. The pancakes were good, but were just too sweet. At this point id give the place a 3.5 stars. Then we ordered coffee and when we ordered a second round. They refused. The waitress just said there are people waiting, can you please pay. After ordering 2 drinks, 2 mains, a side and 2 coffees between 2, being asked to vacate a table, we probably had for 50 odd minutes in my book is a just unacceptable. Totally, nothing and no one can convince me otherwise. I also asked if they accept Cheque Gourmet/Sodexo and she said only on weekdays (like saying we only accept cards between 9am and 11am). Again unacceptable, either you accept it or you don't. With options like Milk, Benedicts and Picnic around, I really don't need the attitude, hurriedness or the Ok food from this place. I am sorry, I really wanted to like this place. My review in my blog echos...

I went here a few days ago, cause I saw this place on the internet and I had really high expectations. I ordered a chai latte, benedict and pancakes. The chai latte was actually delicious, but the benedict was just okay. So the food was overall okay, but oh boy the service was awful. First of all, they didn’t know any english which I found a bit odd since this brunch place is located in a tourist area. Although, it is not my business, the staff was fighting with each other and I assumed that one of them was yelling at a new employee. I ignored it, and after we ate the benedict, we waited for over 30 minutes for our pancakes. When we all got mad cause they didn’t bring it, we went to one of the employees and asked them to bring our bill. On the bill, there were the pancakes that we never actually got served with. We told them that they never actually brought the pancakes to us and that they completely forgot about them. They didn’t even bother to apologise for this misunderstanding. The food is pretty tasty, but too bad that the service is so low. Everything came out super expensive, even tho it was only me and another friend. It did not live up to my expectations, and wouldn’t actually recommend this place to...

Granja Petitbo – A Barcelona Classic Granja Petitbo is one of the places I always come back to whenever I’m in Barcelona, and I’m happy to see it still keeps its cool hip vibes. I ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon, and it was tasty. For a dish and a drink, expect to pay around 20€. The atmosphere is cozy, with a relaxed vibe that makes it a perfect spot for breakfast or brunch. Service was very friendly and attentive. Staff spoke English, and menus were available both in English and Spanish. No waiting this time, and both cash and card payments are accepted. Seating is available indoors and outdoors A place I always recommend for a reliable and stylish brunch in Barcelona.

We found out about this place on social networks and decided to visit it during breakfast. A very interesting place where friendly and polite people work. Their menu is also very cool and varied. After the coffee and matcha that we enjoyed, we had a delicious and creamy scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast, and at the end we sweetened ourselves with a carrot cake. Everything was very tasty and not even expensive. I recommend!
