⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 — The Best Food I’ve Ever Had, Every Time

Every six months, like clockwork, I find myself back in Barcelona—and without fail, one of the first places I go is La Caravana. After numerous visits, I can confidently say that this place serves the best food I’ve ever had, hands down. No matter how many cities I travel to or restaurants I try, nothing compares to the consistently incredible experience I have here.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted like family. The staff are some of the friendliest, warmest people I’ve encountered in the hospitality world. There’s a genuine passion in how they welcome you, explain the dishes, and check in during your meal. It’s not the kind of forced service you sometimes find elsewhere—this feels real, heartfelt, and personal.

Now let’s talk about the food: absolutely outstanding. Every dish I’ve tried here has been a revelation—full of bold flavors, perfectly balanced seasoning, and presented with care. The menu is creative without being pretentious, rooted in local ingredients but with global influences that make it exciting and unique. La Caravana never misses.

What blows me away every time is the incredible value for money. You’d expect food of this quality and service to come with a much higher price tag, especially in a city like Barcelona. But here, you enjoy a full, unforgettable meal without breaking the bank. It’s the kind of value that makes you do a double-take when the bill arrives—amazed that you could eat so well for so little.

The atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, with a warm, lived-in charm that makes it feel like your favorite neighborhood spot—even if you’re just visiting. There’s always a mix of locals and travelers, and somehow the place brings everyone together in that uniquely Barcelona way: good food, good people, and good energy.

I honestly can’t recommend La Caravana enough. It’s not just a restaurant—it’s an experience. One that I look forward to every time I return to this city, and one that never fails to exceed my expectations. If you’re in Barcelona and only have time for one memorable meal, make it here. You’ll be talking about it long after the plates...

I’ve lived very close to the restaurant for almost half year. Today is my first time stepped into the restaurant. It’s around 15:30, and there are only a few people inside. An old staff was very friendly, and he suggested me try N•2 combined dishes! Everything in the plate is very tasty. I’ve eaten Shawarma before, and some of them are tough, however, this one is quite juicy, tender, and in a large portion! Falafel is good and very crispy. The salad in the plate perfectly balanced the oily taste and always refreshed the flavor. What I love the most is Mutabal, the smoky flavor goes very well with pita! I ordered Baclawa for dessert. It is a bit sweet but I love the crispy skin and strong aroma of pistachio and nuts in side! Overall, the service and environment is good. Although there is no large capacity in the restaurant, it is easy and quick to take away! Highly recommended and will go...

Sencillamente excelente!

A mejorar?

My friends and I went to this Syrian restaurant for a late lunch and were lucky enough to find a table. The place is small and cozy. The staff was incredibly friendly, and when they learned we were Bulgarian, they even tried to communicate with us using a few words from a related Slavic language. As for the food - simply outstanding! This is the best Syrian restaurant I have ever visited. The shawarma was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor, while the falafels were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The hummus was smooth, creamy, and had just the right balance of flavors. Every dish tasted fresh and authentic. If you're looking for a place with delicious Middle Eastern food, warm hospitality, and a relaxed ambiance, I highly recommend this spot. A real treasure in Barcelona!
