La Uramakeria — Restaurant in Barcelona

Food Undercooked rice across all the sushi bites. Had more crunch than I would normally expect or want.

The Crispy Sushi bites came out first and we're cold, I can't imagine they were made fresh with how quickly they came out before the rest of the food and how cold and not crispy they were.

The nigiri selection is probably the smallest nigiri I've ever had, roughly the size of my thumb if that.

Service They were slow to take our order, and slow to give us our bill.

When we were waiting to order I had time to decide what I wanted and go to the bathroom and be on my phone for a while. We were considering going to the little counter by the door, but figured they had sat us at a table so surely it's meant to be table service.

They came eventually and took our order.

When paying it was the same situation. We told then we didn't want anymore food - I don't remember if we specified we wanted to pay - I wouldve assumed that was obvious based on not wanting any more food, but who's to say. We waited for a long time looking for our original waiter. In the end we had to call a second waitress over who seemed like she couldn't care less, but was at least quick to give us the bill. She barely spoke to us and at most mumbled what I assume could have been a 'thanks'.

Everyone working there looked miserable - this is not normally something I think is fair to comment on, but when there's two waiters and one chef - and they all look like they'd rather be anywhere else, it's hard to feel very at ease or welcome.

Atmosphere Pretty standard, nothing spectacular,...

The portions were quite small (especially the salmon donburi - barely any fish and sauce, the dish was mainly rice). But the worst part of this place is the attitude of the staff. Our waitress seemed like she really didn't want to bother with anything. Examples: she didn't bring a drinks menu when we asked for it; there were drinking glasses for water prepared at most tables but not at ours, we ordered two bottles of water but were given no glasses, I asked for those and she brought me just one and not for the other person I was with; then after we were done and still getting ready to leave - picking our coats, etc. - she started cleaning our table and rushing us into clearing our stuff from there. But there were no other clients waiting for that particular table, so there was no need for any rush whatsoever! Never had such a careless and...

If I could leave this with no stars, I would! I ordered the crunchy salmon under the offer that if I bought one, I would get one for free. I only got one. So, I called and talked to two people that insisted I listened to them instead of letting me speak, telling me that it’s my problem and I should put 2 in the basket to get one for free and that I should talk to Uber?? Meanwhile, when I actually did that, it led me to pay for both of them! How does that make sense?? I put one in the basket (what it SAID I should do) and it was their responsibility to put one more in the order! Mistakes are human and they should apologise and send me what I ordered but they chose to be rude instead! I don’t like to be cheated on like this for 8 pieces of sushi!...
