Las Fritas — Restaurant in Barcelona

It is a nice place run by nice people but it is overrated in my opinion. It may be because my expectations were very high since I always watched the videos on social media reels on Instagram how delicious the fries are how incredible the sauces the cheese meat and spicy sauces. It skyrocketed my expectations. I tried spicy patatos with meat and cheese. Cheese and meat are my favorite food alongside with fried patatos so this combination is my ultimate favorite food plate. I cannot say it was not good but that was far away from what I expected. I guess the main disappointment comes from the fries if they were a bit crispy it would be much mire delicious. Unfortunately they were fried obviously long time ago and heated just before and they soaked oil so it wasn't good fries. Cheese and meat crumbs were nit enough to save the day. My humble recommendation would be making meat crumbs bigger and certainly crispy fries. Just a small additional there is no place to sit it is...

This was very closely located to the beach just a short walk up the main streets where you'll find a string of restaurants to eat at, this has to be the most filling and worth the money. We ordered a small fries each and was €3.60 and toppings were €1.20 each. This filled us up plenty but they have medium size cones and even a bucket sized tub for starting at €8.50

I got the blue cheese topping and my partner got chilli which was very tasty too and not too spicy!

Brilliant place if you want to save a buck and something that will fill you up until the evening 👌 you don't have to just stick with the one topping like us you can have as many as you like!

I always give fair reviews and like to support businesses. This is my lowest rating yet. The service is good. They manage the queue well and quickly serve you. Sometimes it gets busy so it can’t be easy. However, they seem to have potato fries ready to fry again and serve. Maybe they fry twice as other restaurants do. The problem is the mass of potatoes waiting to be cooked again are drying up. My potato fries were mostly tough and dry. They need to sort out their system and produce some fresh fries.
