Great lovely place for breakfast, as you can see from the photos (ppl standing outside)we had to wait outside for 20m as it is rather crowded (perhaps due to Goole reviews) but it was certainly worth the wait. There aren't many food options to be honest and certainly this could be something to consider in terms of improvement but the reason for the 4 stars (and again I think it's a local issue ) is that there are limited options for food intolerances but I had a lovely portion of a fried fluffy vegetable fritters with lovely guacamole. I also really loved the Turmeric latte. The WiFi in the place is really terrible (Another local annoyance we have seen in other places) and the access to the menu is with a QR code, so my feedback is either sort out your WiFi or make sure to provide paper menus to each table. The place was really crowded so not a lot of room and so our table was also with breadcrumbs and that was at no point cleared and lastly the hostess was incredibly SHORT as in assertive in an impolite way, so even that what we ordered was lovely I can't give 5 stars with all the above comments. People follow these Google reviews and so it's worth mentioning so that firstly the owner should consider this as honest feedback improvement but secondly to know and also for my followers to know that the fact a place got so many good reviews is not...

Horrible experience. We waited patiently outside next to the sign asking us to wait there to be seated. The waitress walked passed us without even looking at us for about 10 minutes, even though there were places insides. When asking whether to order at the counter or at the table she snapped that we should be patient en she will be coming to the table. After ordering she served us a different drink than we ordered and only served us one of the two dishes we ordered. After asking about the second one we were told we didn’t order anything else (?). We told her there might be a miscommunication (even though we ordered in fluent Spanish and definitely did order two dishes). She then just walked off without telling us whether the second dish was still coming. When asking another waitress about it, she snapped it was being prepared. Every single question was too much for these people. Every single member of the staff was outright rude…. Don’t recommend going...

Do NOT be dissuaded by the line. It’s rare that I’m moved to write a google review, let alone one about a breakfast sandwich that isn’t even local fare.

I was super tired and over traveling on my last day in Barcelona, trying really hard to be annoyed with everything and everyone I encountered, and the folks at Little Fern have made it completely impossible to achieve this goal. The special edition is without exaggeration the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had (hint: it’s all in the crispy cheddar. never ever change that), the cold brew is perfection, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Like, all of them were a joy, from the hostess to the server to the barista. Even the other patrons were a delight to chat with (was there solo, so this was a nice bonus). You ruined my plans to be a grumpy misanthrope the whole day! Thanks so much for that and for the coffee bean souvenir. :) Hope to get to visit again one day. Greetings...

Very crowded but it was Christmas eve. Seems to be a favourite with the expats. The waitress placing the customers seemed stressed and not welcoming. My five stars goes only to the tall, skinny, dark haired waiter. He was very chatty, welcoming, helpful, and knows how to do his job very well. Even when he is busy, he would say, "I'll get that for you right away" even when he can't, which gives a totally different impression. Even I should learn from his conduct. The other service personnel should learn from him. I was more than happy to leave a bigger service charge. Food is excellent. Worth every euro. The ginger and lemon booster shot is amazing. Decor is basic, and you need to watch your head in some places. The place is actually very small and the tables are more café style than proper dining.

I had brunch at the cafe while waiting for my laundry across the street. When we arrived, there was a line of about 5 parties in front. It started to rain, and half of the people left because there was no shelter and no umbrella. Thankfully we brought one, so we stayed in the line. When it was our turn, we were sat in a nice spot on the windowsill but it was a bit cramped for me since I'm kinda large. I ordered the burger with egg, while my companion had the harissa scramble. I also took a side of haloumi as a snack, and we both had coffees. Overall the food is good; neither of us were vegetarian/vegan but didn't feel like that got in the way. We topped off by sharing the acai bowl, which was good as well. Overall a solid brunch spot if you don't care that there are no meat options!
