This restaurant proved to be a pleasant surprise, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. The focal point is the brick oven at the entrance, where pizzas are prepared in full view — an appealing touch that sets the tone for the meal. The menu features an extensive range of pizzas alongside pastas and tapas, providing plenty of variety.
We began with the meatballs, which were flavorful but unfortunately served only lukewarm, detracting from their potential. The pizzas, by contrast, were the highlight of the evening: impressively large, generously topped, and baked with a crust that struck a satisfying balance — crisp without being overly thin. In hindsight, one pizza could easily have been shared.
Service, while friendly, lacked attentiveness at times. Desserts were not especially enticing, so we opted to forgo them. One point of disappointment was the discrepancy between the prices listed on the menu in-house and those advertised online.
Overall, the restaurant offers an enjoyable dining experience, particularly for its pizzas, though improvements in consistency of service and menu transparency would...

We were recommended Zia Carolina's by a friend and we were certainly NOT let down!
We got a bus for 25 minutes from our accommodation to visit and it was well worth the trip. We were greeted with big smiles and enthusiastic staff, which is always such a pleasure.
After sorting our mobility scooter out we were sat down and given the menu. We quickly picked up from the decorations that the staff at Zia Carolina's were all related. It being a family-run business made it all the more worthwhile. We were introduced by our waiter to the family and given a brief history of their story. This is something that I cherish as we are such people persons and so to connect with the staff of Zia Carolina's really made a positive impression on us.
The pizza was second to none. It was fantastic. The portions were huge and the price was perfect. We had leftovers and were given suitable packaging to take it away with us. Suffice to say we were in for a treat when lunchtime came around the next day!
Thank you to the family of Zia Carolina's! We had a brilliant time...
Read moreDecent place with good food, but the service left a lot to be desired. The staff seemed overwhelmed when the restaurant was full, which is understandable, but it doesn’t justify certain behaviors.
I followed a server’s recommendation and placed my helmet on an empty chair and out of their way. Later, I noticed the same server pushing the chair—helmet still on it—against the table while visibly frustrated because of that same helmet being there. She did it yet again, with more force, which resulted in a 10cm scratch on the top of my brand-new, expensive helmet. The damage is very noticeable as the helmet has matte-finish .
While I appreciate the food, the way customers' belongings are treated is disappointing. A simple nod towards me would suffice, as I was sitting 2 meters away from the chair and I could easily pick it up. A bit more care and professionalism from the staff would...
