"Stepping into Makamaka was the beginning of what would become one of my most memorable dining experiences. This gem of a restaurant, nestled in the heart of the city, not only captivated me with its vibrant and welcoming atmosphere but also left an indelible mark with its culinary prowess, particularly when it comes to crafting the perfect burger. The burger I had at Makamaka was nothing short of a masterpiece. From the first bite, it was clear that this was no ordinary burger. The patty was flawlessly cooked, achieving that elusive balance of being succulent and rich in flavor, with just the right amount of char on the outside to add a subtle smokiness that burger aficionados dream of. The quality of the meat spoke volumes, showcasing a depth of flavor that only comes from high-quality ingredients.

But what truly set this burger apart were the accompaniments. The bun, soft yet sturdy enough to hold together the generous fillings, was lightly toasted, adding a delightful texture contrast. Overall, it’s a great place close to the beach 🏖 with suuuuper tasty garlic fries 🍟 and burgers 🍔. The cocktails 🍹 were average, that’s why we reduced to 4 stars. Mojito was the least favorite in this case.

Burgers 🍔 were great. Fun fact, their plant-based burger feels like meat. What? 😁

Fries were a real star there.

Personnel was very friendly.

The Toilets are small and they didn’t have soap for washing hands that is terrible especially in current COVID times.

I have been to Makamaka a number of times now and it never fails to please. Everything about the place is great. The burgers are possibly the best I have ever had. I like to think of myself as a burger aficionado and the patty, the bun and the toppings are all near perfect. The fries are amazing, you have to upgrade to the garlic and Parmesan. I did not try anything else, but some of the other dishes coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. The drinks are amazing, the ice tea's and lemonade's are so refreshing after an afternoon on the beach! The bobbies ice tea was mind blowingly good! Also the staff are enthusiastic, fun and friendly and are real aspect of why i love this place so much. Management should give them all a raise!
