Cocktail place with loud music. 🍸🔊😵
Service: 3/5 Taste: 2/5 Atmosphere: 2.5/5 Price: 3/5
We visited this place in the afternoon and the terrace was really crowded, so we decided to sit inside and it was our second mistake, because inside music is really too loud, so my wife was insisted to use headphones to not to go deaf. 🎧😵 We waited some time for menu and after finally I got attention of the waiter we just got QR code to use as digital menu, however after 3 mins of torture with trying to load it we finally received normal physical menu (just to make it clear, it happened that just stack of them stand all this time next to the waiters). 😐🤷♂️ So we decided to try their special Don Ceviche and Entrana and it was our third mistake. First dish happens to be pieces of dorada 🐟 swimming next to mango 🥭, onion 🧅 and sweat potato 🥔 in some sauce under hut of dried sweat potato straw served with overdried potato chips. 😕 Let me call the taste "interesting" - because taste a bit similar to the Japan rolls, but in reality you are eating something that looks really different. I can't say I would like to taste it one more time, even one portion was more than enough. 😅 Entrana description sounds so - "cut of tender beef.. with sauce". 🥩 Would I call it tender? - No. Would I call it tasty? - Maybe 30% of all meat on the plate was good, some pieces were just smelly. 🙄 Sauce for it was also way too oily as for me. Also I tasted Acai Smoothie🍹and I would say that it's just okay, without any intriguing taste accents, just ground-up fruits. 😒 Price is a bit higher than you expect it to be, but seems that it's because of the location. 🏖️
Would I like to visit this place one more time? - No, thank you, I will definitely look for something else. 🙅♂️
P.S. And yeah, now you know what was our...
Read moreA great restaurant located near the Barceloneta beach with a nice selection of Latinamerican dishes. We went to celebrate a birthday party as this restaurant was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing, greatly cooked and the serving sizes are very generous. I would like to highlight the starters, they were absolutely delicious. The cocktails are also so well prepared and delicious.
There were 8 of us and we ordered: as starters: 2 plates of nachos, 1 provoleta, 2 tequeños, 1 patacones and 1 tapioca. As main dishes: 1 entraña and 1 picanha. And for dessert: 2 cheescake de maracuyá and 1 of 3 leches.
Without the cocktails, all split into 8 was 17'50€, which considering all the amount of food we had is just unbelievable for the quality and amount (and we could have gone without one main dish and one desert because we did ask to take the leftovers).
The staff were very friendly and very quick in serving. I'd like to thank Zoe and Santi for their service and amazing recommendations. Highly recommend if you’d like to taste something different...
Read moreWe ate her for lunch. This restaurant is situated in a very popular street/neighboorhood with the beach closeby. This makes the prices also a bit higher than normal, but we really enjoyed the food here. We ate here some burrito's, taco's and entrana for lunch. The prices were a bit high for lunch, but you do understand the price when you get the food, because it was a lot for lunch. It was also very tasty, you really taste that it is a latin restaurant. Furthermore the drinks here are also a highlight. The cocktails are really recommended and especcially the frozen margharita. They also accept if you want a cocktail that is not on the list (if they have the ingredients for it of course). The personnel is also very hard working! The place was full for lunch time and the employees were flying all over the place. Special shoutout to the female bartender that was making cocktails if it was here last...
