The food was the star of this experience. It was really good and the offerings were well prepared, fairly priced, and comparable favourably to food on offer in Japan. Where the experience was a letdown was the service. We got the immediate impression that we were a bother to the server as we did not have a reservation, in fact she gave an audible “sigh” when we arrived at 8 without one, and there were only 6 other patrons in at the time. She barely spoke to us, was short with us taking our order and drinks. We wanted to order another round of drinks and post meal desserts, however she was so gruff with us that we paid promptly and left within 45 min of entry. Read moreWe had amazing lunch here. It’s very cosy and the food made me feel like I’m at my grandma’s house. The owners are Japanese so you know the food is going to be authentic. The owner is very friendly as well, she even ask for apology before ordering that the wait time will be quite long as there’s a group order they’re dealing with.

This, however was wonderful in many ways.. Traditional, reasonably priced and lovely attentive staff .. it’s hard to find all these in one place in Barcelona .. We had the bento boxes, edamame, drinks, miso and ice cream (for 3 ) and it was € 53… not bad and the guy waiting was very polite.. 5/5 my new favourite...
