Nice place to have a brunch or snack when you walking around Barcelona I find this place very touristy, too much to my taste (there’s always more tourists here than locals, it seems), but it’s pretty nice. Staff is very nice and friendly, they speak Spanish and English at the level that you’ll definitely understand each other The prices are ok, pretty good for Sagrada Familia, must say I can’t tell anything about the taste of their coffee, cause I decided to try iced matcha latte here. I also ordered bocadillo con tortilla and it was actually amazing! Very tasty thing, very big portion. Definitely worth the price. It has well done potatoes inside, fresh tomatoes, cheese and some other things that make the taste pretty unique as different from everything that I’ve tried so far in Spain They have quite a lot of tables inside and outside, so I’m sure you can fit, even if you’ll bring a whole crew with you In general, it’s a place that I can visit again and maybe more than once, need to try some other sandwiches that they...
Read moreThis food was delicious! We were looking for a place near La Sagrada Familia to grab breakfast and found the awesome reviews for Miss Simona.
They weren’t quite open so we thought we’d try next door since it appeared busy. Well the place next door was so busy we decided to return to our original pick Miss Simona’s and we are thankful we did.
We had the Baileys Lattes, Chai Lattes; the Italian bacon, tomato mozzarella sandwich; the Italian bacon with potatoes, caramelized onions, and melted cheese toast; the poached egg casserole with potatoes, mushroom cream truffle, and Iberian ham; and the bravas potatoes (which we order everywhere).
We were all fighting over whose meal was better! The flavors were amazing. If you prefer your potatoes more crispy, the only feedback we would have is to let them know. The sauce on the bravas potatoes is spicy, which we prefer.
Staff is friendly and efficient. We did not wait long. The atmosphere was quaint. You can sit outside or indoors. Highly recommend. One of the best...
Read moreCute little brunch place with many good reviews. I ordered the eggs on focacchia. It came with potatoes that were delicious and some micro greens. My friend ordered the burrata salad. We were both happy with our meals. The service was fine. The tables are designed to give you bruises on your shins. Pedestal table would be much more comfortable. There are no windows in the dining area, but there is some natural light that comes in from the back door. The ceiling fans are nice and worked well. The restroom was large and spacious. Nice new tile floors. The kitchen is small, as I could see as I passed by. I believe the chef is working hard to keep up with the orders. The guy working at the counter bar checked me out and was nice and friendly.
I would have liked: more ice, more lemon, salt & pepper on the table, hot sauce on the table. I did ask for some of...
