We went there because we saw a lot of good reviews, the food tasted okay and we were basically satisfied. Until we got a plastic bag in the paella, we got the waiter, he listened to our account and left with the plastic thing, we thought they would give us an explanation, which is the least the restaurant should do, but no, we waited for 5 minutes, the waiter started to receive other customers and never gave us any feedback again until we took the initiative to call them again, then antoher staff who looked like a supervisor came over and asked us what was wrong (unbelievable), we had to explain it again, and then the supervisor's reply was that the plastic was eaten by the FISH!!!! So they had nothing to do with it.????? I want to ask, don't you do anything with the fish( and we basically didn't see half a piece of fish from this paella)? We couldn't accept such a nonsensical explanation and finally decided to return the paella, the whole service experience was awful. We will never come back, it was the worst dining experience we had in the whole of Spain.

Went there at 11:30pm after trying to enter 2 other restaurants that already closed their kitchens although they had a later closing time. Imagine the gratefulness i had for O toxo when i learnt that their kitchen was still open at 11:30pm when they close at 12am! They were still willing to cook paellas for us although that would most probably mean they have to close later as well. They also do 1 pax paella so we were able to try out different flavours. Their paellas came packed with ingredients even though it was only meant for one, and they were delicious 😋😋 Though slightly more soupy (perhaps due to us dining late), the paellas were flavourful and almost every bite had seafood~ We were still eating when they had to start to close up, but they were so nice to tell us not to rush our meal because they were cleaning. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone / tourists that have a late flight and wanna grab a delicious late night paella đŸ„˜

I liked this place, to be honest. I come here every time I visit Barcelona, though I knew it's not the cleanest and I've adjusted my expectations accordingly. But this is too much!!!!!!! They brought someone else’s raw meat on my bread. This is recycle of food and not good for hygiene since it’s raw meat!!!!! When I asked about it, the staff just said, "No problem.” DO NOT COME HERE 낚읎 ëščë‹€ 낚은 êł êž° 뭍은 ëč” ë‚Žì€Œ . edit : "If you're recycling food like tomatoes or raw meat that isn't clean, it's unacceptable. Moreover, not providing an explanation when asked is disappointing. Simply saying "no problem" is not sufficient. I won't be returning here." "Si esteu reciclant aliments com tomĂ quets o carn crua que no estan nets, Ă©s inacceptable. A mĂ©s, no proporcionar una explicaciĂł quan es pregunta Ă©s decebedor. Simplement dir "no hi ha problema" no Ă©s suficient. No tornarĂ© aquĂ."

Tourists Beware: Avoid This Scam at All Costs!

Tonight, my husband and our daughters, and I decided to look for a restaurant that wasn’t in the city center—somewhere less crowded and hopefully more authentic. After seeing positive reviews online, we chose this place, thinking it would be a good choice. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge mistake!

First, the food We ordered a tapas seafood platter, and to put it simply: the seafood wasn’t fresh at all. The mussels were tiny and had a strange taste, while the shrimp were ridiculously small and completely lacked any freshness. The whole platter was absolutely not worth the price we paid.

Next, the service (pure deception!) Here’s what happened: I saw a photo of a grilled pork tapas dish on Google Photos, which looked delicious. I showed the picture to the waiter, and he nodded, indicating he understood. He even pointed at the menu and asked whether we wanted a small or large portion. We chose the small one, but after a while, they brought us a plate of garlic shrimp instead!

At first, we assumed it was part of the seafood platter. But when the seafood platter arrived later and also had shrimp, we realized something was wrong! 😡 When we asked about the grilled pork tapas, the waiter pretended to be clueless and claimed the restaurant didn’t serve that dish at all! 😹 If that’s true, why did he act like he understood earlier and even ask about the portion size? It’s clear they were taking advantage of the fact we don’t speak Spanish!

Finally, the bill (outright infuriating!) I don’t usually check the bill too carefully, but tonight, something felt off. Sure enough, they had charged us for three extra drinks that we never ordered! Although the amount wasn’t significant, the behavior was completely unacceptable. đŸ€Ź When we confronted them, they acted like it was an honest mistake and with no apologies, but do you really believe that?

Conclusion This restaurant is clearly a tourist trap, designed to scam unsuspecting visitors. Please stay alert and don’t fall for...

I was there today with my friends and we ordered 4 Paellas. The waitress said it will take a bit longer to prepare them. Around 25 minutes she said. So we have ordered another first dish and drinks.

We ended up waiting 25 minutes for the drinks, another 10 minutes for the first dish and after more than an hour and a half the palleas came.

I began eating mine, after a few spoons i found myself chewing on a piece of PLASTIC that was inside of the food. I called the waitress and she took the dish away.

A few minutes later, my friends found HAIR in their dish!!! We called the waitress again and she sent another guy that was working there. He came to us with the cook, showing us that he is bald! Such a disrespectful attitude towards the clients i have really never experienced in my life.

He said the table is for free, later as we wanted to leave he was shouting asking us to pay for the first dish and the drinks.

Add to all of that the whole terrible service from the first moment we got in. We had to wait for ages for everything. Even waiting for cutlery that never came and one of us had to go and ask for it again.

All in all it was a terrible experience....

Terrible. I have been living in Spain for over a month and this is by far the worst bar I have been to since I arrived. Terrible service, the waitress seemed to not listen to anything we said and gave us three dishes that we did not order. My partner and I moved here to improve our Spanish and this is the first restaurant we have been to that has essentially refused to speak to us in Spanish — despite our best efforts and our bachelors’ degrees in the language. They over charged us every chance they could get. We each ordered one tapa and a single dish of paella to share. They gave me a tapa that I did not order, and gave my partner a ración portion of his boquerones when he clearly ordered the tapa portion. Moreso, they gave us a double portion of paella after we specifically ordered one to split. The meal came out to over 50€ when it should have been 30€ at most. My partner and I have each worked in food service and have incredible patience for this work because we know how hard it can be. But we left entirely disappointed in the service and the...
