Ølgod Brewpub — Restaurant in Barcelona

Fantastic craft beer bar and nice and centrally located. We popped in here a few times during our stay in Barcelona and were never disappointed.

The owner welcomed us warmly on our first visit and we had some great conversation with him about beer and other stuff. The subsequent visits we were greeted by other staff who were all friendly and provided great service.

The selection is fantastic. We sampled beers from various local breweries and as you may have guessed from the name, the owner is Danish, so there were some great Danish beers to sample too. There were even some beers from breweries we were familiar with from the UK like The Kernel, Siren and Moor.

The atmosphere is great. Loved the choice of music and the artwork on the walls.

Awesome craft beer pub with 30 beers on tap, also beertails and cocktails available. Got a nice tapas menu as well if you are hungry. Playing metal /hard rock music on a quite high volume (which I love) but if you want to have a pint in quiet surroundings maybe go somewhere else :) Employees are helpful and service is quite fast. Got a nice taster tray with 5 beers for 15 euros if you feel like sampling. The quality on tap when visiting was very high with alot of local high end craft beers combined with international ones. Loved how they split the 30 beers in categories "Blonde", "Hoppy", "Hoppy+", "Black" and "Sour". That way it makes it easy for you to find the beer you want. A good beer hall with own and partner beers. One of the best beer cost tables, by type, alcohol percentage and cost. Don't mix up the alcohol percentage with the price. Typically pints are 7 euros making it quite expensive for an afterworks and it's your turn to 'invite people'.Food is varied and has a typical pricing for central Barcelona.
