We found this place after walking to another place that was closed. We were warmly greeted by the young man at the bar, and told we could seat ourselves. The menu is in Spanish as it should be. The young man was very accommodating and spoke perfect English. He explained they could prepare the fried rice without meat as a vegetarian option. As my husband is vegetarian, we opted for the fried rice without meat for him. I had the quarter chicken with fries and salad. The salad had no dressing and no sauce for the fries. If I understood what I read, I believe the sauces are extra charges. Water is at a cost also. FYI: if you’re vegetarian, ask maybe to withhold the oyster sauce from the rice (I didn’t realize the dish contained oyster sauce until afterwards when I went on the website). The rice was flavorful. Nice restaurant and polite and quick service from the staff. I’d give it a 3 star normally, if it weren’t for the fact that the “Pollo alla Brasa” wasn’t really cooked how is supposed or claimed to be. The chicken is cooked in the oven and then finished off on a grill at the end. Chicken is moist inside but has the typical texture and salty taste and of pre-chicken you buy in a supermarket. Real BBQ/grill cooked chicken tastes much much better, it’s totally different, so claiming it is “alla Brasa” is deceiving to customers. Also, €14 for 1/2 oven-cooked chicken? Peruvian restaurant with pleasing, comfortable interior and terrace located in the Sant Marti area. The specialty of the place is the chicken, which is garnished with spices, tasty and accompanied by rice and hand-cut potatoes. Don't miss the lomo plate also, the meat is very tender and dressed with a tasty sauce.
