Worst service ever and arrogant male waiters. There's nothing more disgusting than terrible Asian waiters. When you are accustomed to great accommodating wait staff at Japanese restaurants and experience the opposite...its very disappointing. We went to this restaurant situated across the street from our hotel for a late dinner after a long day of tourist activities. We were famished and was ready for a great meal. The restaurant had a number of patrons so we figured it was a good place. Nothing was further from the truth! My party of five was seated without menus. After 10 minutes the most uncaring, unassuming waiter came by and tossed menus on the table and ran away. 15 minutes later he returned with no greeting and asked...order? I ordered appetizers, drinks, hot sake and main dishes. Ten minutes later he brings the most disgusting tasting cold sake and dashes off again. A charming lady waiter walked by and I asked her if she could heat the sake and she complied. Fifteen more minutes passed and arrogant waiter passes by and I ask about the appetizers, he states I don't speak English and dashes off again. Another 15 minutes later still no appetizers. In the meantime he sits a party of 4 next to us. Fifteen minutes later they have everything they ordered and we still don't have appetizers. Finally, we decided that it's better to leave. I leave the money for the sake and we exit. The arrogant non English speaking waiter runs out after us asking for payment of the sake in perfect English... I can't review the quality of the food as we never hot to experience any but for basic courtesy, basic service and basic hospitality...this restaurant gets a very...

Having read the comments before hand, we were concerned about going there. But having observed from the hotel how busy it was for two nights … we ventured across. Problem language…. We could not speak Spanish not Cantonese / Japanese. So we asked for one of the English speaking team members. Along popped Donald very helpful, took time to explain which dishes were vegetarian for my wife and how to order…. He double checked that her choice of dishes were as required. Food delivered …. Fairly quickly, considering the number of people there were. (Along with drinks). Proportions very good Taste as anticipated (as I had had Japanese food before), good clean non oily or wet from excess steam. It was well presented. (We did not take any images - sorry) Atmosphere buzzing with not only locals

From the website: “Our premises have a modern decoration and a cozy atmosphere-” Yes, modern decor but cozy it was not as soon as the dish seemed empty it was winked away, before you could blink! Without having the garnish or sauce.

But thanks to Donald it was an enjoyable experience. Perhaps the Management / owners might consider employing a few more multilingual staff. They have a very good and broad selection of food, which, having visited just a few times, I can say is of consistent quality.

Though the waiting staff tend to look a bit rushed and unprepared for large numbers, it is a good place to go as a group, perhaps for lunch on a Friday, an event, or as a something-different day.

If you are eating off of the buffet menu you might suffer some short wait times between hot foods from the main kitchen and the sushi kitchen output; the latter tends to be a bit slower due to both the skilled intricacies and the volume being created.

They offer a standard menu or a buffet style arrangement, which will cost you 12.95€ and includes a drink. This is possibly the better option considering the price of individual items, especially sushi pieces, and makes sense if you're dining with someone else.

Like many places; their daytime and evening menu differs; some items may not be available depending on the time of your visit.
