The food is excellent and the staff are wonderfully helpful without being obtrusive. The steaks are always cooked to perfection and the Argentinian blood sausage starter is delicious. The wine is pretty good too!!
A joyous update from the review above!!
Because of Covid, it has been a couple of years since I have been to Patagonia Beef & Wine. It has been one of my favourite Barcelona dining destinations for at least 5 years.
My visit, this time was as 2 adults and 2 children, it was not a disappointment.
The staff were fantastic, welcoming and attentive. Especially with the children. 3 courses for 4, excluding wine came to €40 per head. And, as before, the quality of the food is certainly worth it. My memories were completely fulfilled!
As before, I can totally recommend the Morcilla blood sausages for starter. And the steaks are to die for. The wine list is also excellent. Although my partner was disappointed that they no longer have the selection of 4 mini deserts!! That said, the existing options that we had were also delicious.
Thank you so much Patagonia, for making it through the traumas of the last 18 months, and I wish you all the success, such that you are still here on my next visit...
Read morewine by the glass...so so... meat...ok..but think you can expect top notch meat I don't like to be charged the bread that they serve ..simply because I never asked for it. I think this is an old stupid trick to just charge more...really not charmed by this.
Even less when I told one of the waitresses that i was not pleased about it (the rest of the personnel was fabulous...this must be said)..she didn't charge me and left the change (without the bill) on the table and literally ran away. I asked her for the bill...and if she had charged me for the bread....and I got a snappy remark that if I had looked at the bill...I would have seen that she hadn't charged for it..(which was quite difficult as she left the bill out in the first place). Strange that people take things so personal..it's all good..I am just not impressed by these kind of reactions.
Thanks for your reaction but I think you still don’t get it. You have had several guest complaining about this...why not just LISTEN to them instead of sharing your point of ciew that I for example am not interested in. I AM the client ...you see? :)
Why not just raise your prices elsewhere with 0,50 to 1 euro and serve the bread for...

We took the suggestions of our Waitress and we were so thankful!
Her recommendations:
Appetizer - we had 2
Sampler Plate of Argentinian Empanadas: 2 with Beef and 2 with Ham and Cheese. They were so tasty, the flavors unbelievable so much so that we would have made a meal of it all. Their Chimichuri sauce we added to the Empanadas was the best we have ever had.
Provoleta - our Waitress told us about this very traditional Argentinian dish and told us how good it was (we asked as we saw almost every table order it) and so we ordered one too. It was so good… so simple.. Steak - we each ordered their Filet. It was honestly the best Filet we have ever tasted, melted in our mouth and cooked to perfection. The steak was full of flavor and the smallest amount of Chimichuri sauce made it that much better.
Potatoes - rather than what we normally put on a Baked Potato (Butter, Sour Crème and Chives) they put Cream Cheese. We made a comment or two asking for butter and the Waitress advised we try it as served… wow… who would have thought Cream Cheese on a Baked Potato would be...
