Villa Bakery — Restaurant in Barcelona

After landing and heading to Plaza Catalunya, I was still craving a second breakfast, even though it was almost lunchtime. This bakery turned out to be the perfect choice! Just a 10-minute walk from the Plaza, it's super convenient to reach 🚶🏻‍♂️.

There aren’t many seats inside, but the outdoor tables are wonderfully shaded from the sun. I decided to sit inside, and the moment I walked in, the delicious aroma of fresh pastries made my mouth water 🤤.

The staff is incredibly nice and always smiling. The baker kept bringing out freshly baked goodies, and you could tell he’s a true croissant master 🧙🏻. I couldn’t resist a warm, freshly baked croissant. I also got a fresh orange juice made right there and, of course, an espresso. Everything was perfect: the smell, taste, atmosphere, and service.

My husband and I found this place around the corner of our hotel hotel. From our first visit we knew we found a golden gem! We went 5 days straight with no thought of trying other places( there are many many bakery in Barcelona ) We had there coffee which is the best we ever tasted (don’t understand how a machine can make such rich and bold taste but it does) The chocolate croissant were flaky and just the right amount of chocolate. As a couple from Saudi Arabia, we were thrilled to experience the authentic flavors of freshly baked goods.
