Read moreTravelling from Australia with my Peruvian grandparents this month, we were on the lookout for places that served real Peruvian food and, being Peruvian themselves, my grandparents had high standards. El Dorado Chicken instantly became their favourite and they ended up returning four days in a row — that’s rare for them!
They later shared with me that the food was full of heart and reminded them of home, but what truly made the experience was the team. Our waiter was incredibly kind and welcoming — his genuine nature and thoughtful recommendations made each visit feel like we were being hosted by family.
I stopped by again after my grandparents flew back to Brisbane, hoping for a glass of chicha morada. They’d sold out (a sign of its popularity!), but another team member went out of his way to make one fresh for me. It was worth it, it reminded me of my grandma’s at home.
Thank you, El Dorado Chicken, for being a memory we will happily remember all the way back to...
Read moreMy favorite restaurant in Barcelona up till now. Beyond amazing for the value for money. I ordered a menu for 12€ and got for it a glas of wine, a big and very delicious chicken soup as a first course, and for the second course a big portion of meat, rice and mashed potatoes with a delicious sauce. For dessert I got a typical Peruvian cake, which is the best cake I have ever tasted... very juicy and soft. Simply amazing. Included in the menu was an espresso. If I had to prepare all of this at home I would pay more! Very friendly and fast service and they speak English very well.

I had not expected all of this.
If you are near casa Mila then it's worth it to eat here.
I will definitely come many times in the...
