This is probably the worst restaurant we have ever ordered a meal from. Although the wait staff was welcoming and kind little did we know who lurked in the kitchen. My wife ordered grilled lobster and I ordered some whitefish. They certainly grilled the lobster. To a crunchy dry black crisp. My fish was so over cooked if you’d tossed it against the wall it would shatter like glass. My wife couldn’t find a decent tolerable bite of the lobster and I struggled through the whitefish apparently just to be nice. Of course I had to express our extreme disappointment. To our dismay the wait staff was unresponsive. Like a dead fish? So I went over to talk to the manager who said she needed to talk to the chef. After several minutes she came back to tell me the chef said the presentation was fine and there was nothing wrong with the lobster. Then she offered to cook us another dish which was like giving our front door key to someone who just robbed our home. So we walked away with $83.00 less euros in our pocket and nothing but a couple of beers in our hungry stomachs. If you go to this restaurant be prepared to be robbed of your money and your evening out...

TOURIST TRAP. I’ve never been so disappointed in a restaurant. The waiters were oblivious and rude to us from the beginning. It was already a bad start but we let it go and hoped the food would be good. We waited approximately 1h30 for our food to come. Once it arrived, half the food was missing, we asked where are dishes were and they simply told us they “didn’t have any left” but we had clearly ordered it an hour earlier. Some of my friends therefore sat there with only a drink and no food. Furthermore, the burger and chips and the burrata were inedible. The prawn skewers were a con and we also returned them. After such bad food and having complained many times to the waiters, the time to pay came and we decided to ask directly for the manager who was very unpleasant, arrogant and clearly didn’t care that her food was inedible and she was conning tourists. They even tried to make us pay more for some of the dishes because we were tourists and they thought we wouldn’t check the bill. All I can say is that the whole experience was a total disaster and this restaurant should be shut down, from the food to the manager to the staff, what a NIGHTMARE. DONT FALL...

My recent experience at Rambla Central Restaurant in Barcelona left me thoroughly disappointed and dissatisfied. To put it bluntly, it was a dining experience I would strongly caution others against.

Firstly, the quality of the food was abysmal. I ordered a pizza, only to be served what was unmistakably a frozen pizza hastily heated in the oven. The lack of effort and authenticity in the preparation was glaringly evident. It felt like a complete betrayal of the promise of a restaurant experience.

Adding insult to injury was the exorbitant price of the beverages, particularly the beer. I couldn't help but feel taken advantage of when I saw the bill. The cost of a simple beer was outrageously high, making me question the restaurant's commitment to providing a fair and reasonable dining experience.

Overall, my visit to Rambla Central Restaurant in Barcelona was marked by disappointment, subpar food, and overpriced drinks. It failed to meet even the most basic expectations of a dining establishment. I would strongly advise anyone seeking a quality dining experience to look elsewhere and avoid this establishment...
