Restaurant Embat — Restaurant in Barcelona

I was hoping to avoid touristy spots and lines, and Embat was by far our favorite meal in Barcelona. The setting is unpretentious but the menu beautifully curated. Service was attentive and allowed the meal to flow without feeling rushed. The ingredients are fresh and creatively put together. The menu is elevated and true to its Catalonian roots. We loved with the fried eggplant (prepared like fries), the asparagus mille-feuille was SO unique and delightful (pictured), the prawn carpaccio was unbelievably fresh (pictured), the steak perfectly cooked (pictured), and their interpretation of tiramisu (pictured) did not disappoint. We enjoyed the set menu for 37€ each and chose a bottle of garnacha blanca from the presumably handpicked wine list. I cannot recommend highly...

This place is WOW!

It’s a small restaurant offering Catalan creative cuisine. The service was great, the food was superb!

I came for a weekday lunch where and got a Menu del Dia, which was a bit more expensive than the average menu, but the food was worth it.

I went with 2 more friends and we all left very satisfied with the dishes!

Ps. If you are, like me, doubting between choosing steak tartar or roast beef, go for roast beef, it is super tender and delicious.

The food here is so delicious and the service is great! We went in the evening and most of us shared the tasting menu which had great options and we thought was a fair price for the quality. The vegetarian in our group found lots of things to try which isn't easy in most restaurants in Barcelona. Desserts were amazing and unique twists on the typical.
