Staff Show Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Barcelona

Worst bubble tea I’ve had. The bubbles don’t taste the way they’re supposed to taste.. are soft and not well prepped. Actually worse than the ones in those canned bubble teas you can get at an Asian supermarket that I tried once (but will never try again).

In the last 18 years I’ve tasted bubble teas all over the world (more than 200 for sure) and this one is definitely in the bottom 1% in terms of tapioca ball consistency and taste. A home-made tapioca ball is slightly chewy and has a full flavour, this one was soft and tasted of nothing. Not worth the calories..

The service was friendly, however I regretted spending my time and money on a drink here.. maybe if you get a drink without tapioca bubbles it could be nice, but if you want a real bubble tea I’d recommend to pick another spot.

Seriously? 4.9 stars reviews? People never tasted how a good boba is supposed to taste? Because the extremely high review rating was the reason for me to try it out. I would call myself a boba-lover and have tasted dozens (more than 100 different ones for sure) of milk teas all over the world. And I’m not afraid to say - that this was one of the WORST milk teas I have tried. I had the original with medium sugar. The milk tea was completely flavorless, like water. The Tapioca (boba) was very soft and 0% chewy.

The service was very friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy/stylish. This is the only reason I’m giving it 2 stars and not 1. Boba places are about taste and not interior/staff. And the taste was...

We were happily surprised when we bumped into this new bubble tea shop, and although we weren't even thinking about bubble tea, it looked too irresistible to forgo. We got two teas, and chose their in-house Boba pearls, which we really liked and were easier to chew than those you find in other stores, something that our child appreciated more than us.
