La Fame — Restaurant in Barcelona

Amazing Italian food made by exceptional Italian cooks, and the best desserts in Barcelona! They also have a daily "Menu del Dia", with dessert and drink! We had fresh fried seafood and delicious, crispy crust focaccia and osso buco croquettes for starters. All disappeared before I could take a picture! Then, our main meals were a fresh lasagna that was 5 stars, a vegetable pasta for my vegetarian mother-in-law, and a fresh seafood pasta, all made with fresh pasta they make in-house. The kids had butter pasta that they made especially for them, and they loved it! For dessert, we also had their pistachio tiramisù, which you just have to try, a raspberry ice cream cheesecake to die for and a delicious brownie dish. Do have a coffee at the end of your meal, it's real Italian coffee, which is better than Spanish! They speak English, Spanish and Italian, and have inside and outside seating. Absolute gem of a restaurant! The whole staff is extremely friendly and so accommodating, this is a great option for anybody looking to feel at home in Barcelona. The food itself was amazing and everything on the menu is hand made (even the pasta!) and the owners are so passionate about what they do and it comes across in every dish.
