Our visit to this restaurant was far from enjoyable. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by a strong, unpleasant smell of fried food that lingered in the air. Once seated, we noticed frequent fruit flies around our table, making the dining experience even less pleasant. On top of that, the indoor temperature was uncomfortably cold, and the loud EDM music created more of a lounge bar vibe than a restaurant atmosphere, which felt entirely out of place.
As for the food:
The starters (coca bread, assorted croquettes, and patatas bravas) were decent and met our expectations.
However, the seafood paella was a major letdown. The seafood pieces were unnaturally large, which felt odd for a Mediterranean restaurant, and there were broken shells scattered throughout the dish, making it difficult to enjoy.
The Gaelic octopus was passable, though it was slightly rubbery and lacked the tenderness one would hope for.
The only "positive" aspect was the overly perfumed bathrooms, though even that bordered on overwhelming.
All in all, this was a disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend...
Read moreWe were looking for a nice restaurant when we noticed this place on tripadvisor. The tuna looked really nice so we decided to book a table. We arrived and had the olives, nachos and bread with tomatoes to start. We recommend all of those but the olives blew us away. Then we got the tuna main dish and the seafood paella. Both of those were also delicious. To finish it all off we had the tiramisu and cheese cake for desert. Alsoabsolutely delightfull. Both of themwere a rather abstract version of the dish (the cheesecake was served in a cocktail glass) but embodied the spirit of the deserts. And then after all this amazing food, the staff offered a drink on the house (rather strong but really good haha). We were already really happy with the experience when the waiter gave us our bill with 30% off because we booked our table with google. We would recommend this place to everyone we know if only we would live in barcelona, but since we dont we really wanted to write this review. You should all visit this place and enjoy the...
Read moreDo not go there!! I went there and the paella was such a shame.. the rice wasn’t even cooked and the sea food wasn’t fresh. We were scared to get poisoned. The bread “con tomato” as they say, had a minimum amount of tomato on them, it was basically oiled bread. The moment came for us to get the bill and we realised they made a mistake by counting two paella instead of one and the staff didn’t want to let us pay the right price and was telling us we were wrong when we only ordered one plate of paella.
I completely advice to step a way and go to a better place because you won’t be satisfied either by the food or...
