Urretxu Cuina — Restaurant in Barcelona

The menu of +35 euros was too much, the taste is good. The best was the cod omelette, the hake was also good but too much oil on it, desserts were below average, both the coulant and also the cava lemon sorbet. Starters were also fried and maybe I should have orders meat. I will be back as people talks very very good about the quality of the food and maybe I had a bad day myself. The owner was showing great service and amicable. They have also menu very very good 11.50 euros but they do not reserve as the rest has...

We ordered the menu del dia so our expectations where not so high. The food we got was really bad, never experienced this low level before. Starter was cooked penne pasta with some cheese on top. Fish was raw and boring, completely without taste. Desert was a supermarket creation. The waiter had no patience and threw everything on the table. Never ever again! Really surprised after all the good reviews! Avoid this place...

Me he leído las opiniones con cariño ya que llevaba meses queriendo ir a este restaurante y he tenido tiempo para leerme muchas de las críticas negativas. Pues bien, me presenté allí con decidido espíritu crítico,aunque obviamente constructivo. Dicho esto, creo que las críticas negativas son INJUSTAS y las han basado en experiencias puntuales.(doblemente injusto). En Urretxu se come bien, se está muy a gusto y tanto servicio de sala como dueño te hace sentir como en casa. Tres menús: 35€, 45€, 55€. No voy a entrar en sí es caro o barato,sería una discusión estéril cuando comes bien y todo está bueno. Yo comí el menú de 35€ en la mejor de las compañías y eso no tiene precio. Por poner una pega, y ya digo,por decir algo que yo he echado en falta que no resta ni un ápice a la experiencia, fue una carta más extensa de vino,pero ya digo que el vino blanco recomendado y dentro del menú (detalle importante) era excelente. Dicho todo esto,solo puedo animar al que lea esta humilde...
