I've been in this restaurant with my dad a few years ago. Today i note that my bad experience from back then is still going on.

Be really carefull when you sit at their table. Usually, before you even ordered anything, they are gonna bring you a plate of bread with a cheap and tasteless tomato sauce. This plate IS NOT FREE. It's even worse than that : they are gonna charge you 5 euros for this crap anyways, it doesn't even matter if you touch it or not. It's a common scam in every spanish tourist traps like this one.

I usually had lunch in this restaurant for my stay in Barcelona with my dad. We quickly noticed they charged us for this scam the first time but we didn't say anything since we touched it (we were not supposed to know it was gonna be tasteless).

But the second time, we didn't touch it. We refused to pay for it when they dropped the bill. We asked for them to remove the "pan con tomate" line on the bill, then we'd pay. Then the waiters began to be aggressive. One old waiter (i'd say almost 60) even waved his fist around my dad's nose speaking spanish loudly (i just understood "pagar" which means "pay"), I wanted to jump him but i resisted the urge. Finally, my dad said "call the owner, and the police". The owner came and ordered the waiters in spanish to remove the line on the bill.

Shady restaurant, doing shady scams. I obviously don't recommend anyone to go there even tho the view is nice and...

Food quality was only OK, it does not meet the price. But the service was really unpleasant - service staff was insisting us having their deserts although we said no multiple times, same with coffee. The overselling was unpleasant and over the limit - even bringing the deserts to the table on a tray. It gave the impression, that they are desperately trying to sell those before they hit the expiration date. The communication manner was also not pleasant at all. What completely ruined the dinner was the waiter repeating 3 times that the service is not included in the bill. We understood it the first time already - no need to repeat. So the whole business strategy of this place is to suck out as much as possible from the tourists. Never ever again I am coming back...

I cannot express how awful the service was here. Our waiter did not speak any English which would have been fine if he even tried to understand what we were asking/telling him. We asked for tap water and received bottled water which we were charged almost $4 each for. He did not check on us once throughout the entire dinner and when we wanted the check so we can get out of the place he was nowhere to be found. Eventually he walked by and we tried to get his attention by saying excuse me and he completely ignored us multiple times. There were not many tables occupied and dozens of workers just hanging around seemingly doing nothing. The food was just okay but it was overpriced and the whole experience was just bad. Save your frustration and go...

We came across this restaurant by the sea and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the start. The waiter took us to a table without asking where we would like to sit. When we tried to request a different table, I (who don’t speak Spanish) said “sorry,” and he responded in Spanish, asking what the problem was. My friend explained that I don’t speak Spanish, but instead of being understanding, the waiter was rude and insisted that I should speak Spanish because he assumed I was Latin American. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of customer service made us so uncomfortable that we decided to leave without eating. Definitely not a place we would recommend.

This is a nice seafood restaurant that offers a good view of the seaport. Our food was preordered and the dishes came at a very nice pace. The fried calamari, shrimp scampi and seafood croquettes were all delicious. I did not care much for the Catalan toast but my friends ate it like a tostada with the seafood. The grilled cod was moist and tender. The pot roast was hefty but lacks flavor, it came with a nicely grilled sweet potato and squash. The dessert was a low point. The Catalan cream was undercooked though the torched sugar was a nice touch. Overall, this is a nice place for a group. The staff is friendly and eager to please.

The service was good. Some of the dishes are quite good. The price tag is slightly above average. There was a small delay in serving sea bass. But everything was spoiled by the mussels. We also took mussels and pasta with seafood, which also had mussels. Mussels are a natural reservoir of different pathogens (viruses), they require qualitative heat treatment, it was not done and as a result everyone who ate: three adults, three children got symptoms corresponding to norovirus. I highly do not recommend to take there mussels and dishes with them (maybe something else). It's roulette and a couple days of illness.
