FISKEBAR Restaurant Offers a Perfect Date Ambiance 🌊

Very disappointing experience at one of my favourite places in Barcelona, that I have been recommending to everyone. Not anymore! It was my 5th time at FiskeBar. Even though I noticed the service is quite bad, the food is nice and the atmosphere amazing so I have always came back. This time though, we were treated very unprofessionally. After ordering each appetisers, main course and dessert, one of the dessert “smoked” vanilla flan was not possible to be eaten. After one bite, you have the feeling you are eating charcoal and the taste stays in your mouth. Very unpleasant and I usually like smoked dishes. We shared this information with our waitress and asked to return that one 7€ dessert or at least that she speaks with the chef. At first, she was reluctant to speak about it at all and after all she didn’t even at all with any response. We got tired of waiting and went to the bar to pay. We explained the situation to the manager there and he very arrogantly said it is specified in the menu. We said that we saw this, but still the dessert was disgusting and tasted like charcoal. And nobody even bothered to even tried it to check if that’s true, even though our whole table confirmed it. The manager just replied very arrogantly. It’s not about the 7€, but your behaviour towards the customers for such an elevated restaurant at the Marina. ;) that’s how you are loosing loyal customers and future ones.

We went to celebrate my mother’s birthday. Had really high expectations. The place looks nice, the music isnt to loud, you can listen to the people talking. Let’s talk now about the service. From the moment we entered to the moment we left it shows that they’re not professional. When we sat at the table we ordered the food and the waiter repeated the order and made sure nothing was missing. The appetizers never got to the table, we were first served the main dishes and then i asked another waiter to check he said that that’s all we ordered so we added the starters again. The bread and butter came also after the main course and lets not talk about the dessert. We ordered the hazelnut fondant I didnt try it but my mom and sister said it was too sweet and very gelatinous. Im not going to deny it they have some good dishes but if you’re coming to enjoy the overall experience the service is too slow and not very professional. Will i go back i don’t know yet also keep in mind that i went on a monday night for dinner the place wasnt packed and it was this way so imagine on a busy day. On a positive note they’re pet friendly so i was able to bring my dog

I wanted to share my feedback from my recent visit to your Fiskebar, which was a stark contrast to my initial delightful experience during lunch.

My second visit, unfortunately, left much to be desired. The evening started promisingly with a glass of cava and a picturesque view of the port. However, our enthusiasm took a hit when our order seemed to be rushed. The second course arrived just a minute after we had placed our order, and the first course was served alongside the rest of the second course orders.

In an attempt to rectify the situation, I politely requested our waiter to delay the main course so that we could savor a leisurely evening with fine wine and cava. Despite this conversation, our first and second courses persisted for another 10 minutes. Politely, I reminded the waiter of our earlier exchange and requested the main course once more. Regrettably, when the main course finally arrived for the second time, it was excessively salty and almost inedible.

Adding to my discomfort, I hesitated to voice my concerns to the waiter, only doing so after my wife intervened. To my astonishment, when the bill arrived, the paella that had caused so much dissatisfaction was still listed. I engaged with the manager to discuss the matter. Given the high regard I had for your restaurant, I expected some form of compensation or, at the very least, the removal of the paella from the bill. Unfortunately, it became evident that both the service and management lacked a strong understanding of exemplary customer service.

To further add to my disappointment, a minor incident occurred when a glass was accidentally broken. Astonishingly, the broken glass remained untouched and uncleaned until we departed.

This experience was far from what I had envisioned, considering I had once hoped this restaurant would become a personal favorite. Regrettably, the customer service has led me to conclude that this will also be my...

Esto fue directamente después de haberlo preguntado TRES veces: "Are you sure this is the cortado made with oak milk, otherwise I will be very ill for two days? ".

We didn't have enough staff today, we were short on staff", "there were other tables that also ordered coffe and I got confused"...
