The Coconut Club — Restaurant in Barcelona

The worst decision I made was to go back here for old times sake after going here for a meeting point for a boat party two years ago.

We walked in to the bar area and was met with 2 bartenders and 1 server. We were the only 2 customers but this was 6pm on a Monday.

We approached the bar and asked if it was ok to sit outside. The server behind the bar appeared to be on drugs as his eyes were rolling and he was swaying from side to side. He was just able to hold a conversation whilst the other two bartenders were smirking and laughing. This initially made us feel uncomfortable.

Going back up to the bar to order 2 cocktails and paid in cash for them both to which the server jokingly suggested a tip! Is this normal? This made me feel very awkward. I firstly said no and then said yes as who knows what could be put into the drinks…

I knew it was only going to get worse from here so when the drinks were brought to the table not a taste of alcohol were in the cocktails. We both got up and left disappointed.

Witnessed our drinks being spiked here, pretty blonde girl and bar staff worked together. We immediately left. Update due to response from owner. It was definitely your bar where this occurred. The woman in question was working in conjunction with the lone barman that was working. There was also a male sat at the end of the bar by the entrance who appeared to be involved. We had 3 bottles of Heineken on the bar, when my friend on my right hand side went to the toilet I turned to face my friend on my left, this is when the pretty blonde girl came over and brushed up against me. I turned to see what she wanted and my friend witnessed the barman put something in my drink. They new we saw this and immediately walked away. I am 43 years old and past my best, why the hell would a very beautiful young woman be trying to get my attention????? Pretty obvious...

Came with my friends for couple of drinks, ask for couple of classic cocktails, bartender didn’t know what he was doing! So i tried to explain how to do it, but being very rude said that he knows what he was doing. We got our drinks but wasn’t at all as expected so I asked to get something in stead as was horrible. Bartender started shouting at me saying “that’s what you ordered that’s what you will get and walked away. Luckily the owner of the place was there so I asked him for to change it for me so he did. I would not recommend this place to anyone that wanna come and spend some good time with friends as the drinks are disgusting and...
