Great food but service was terrible. Didn't have a reservation but got seated straight away. Was then left for fifteen minutes without being given a menu. We o ly got one because we asked a passing waiter who would have happily walked straight past if we hadn't waved at him. The waiter seemed a bit put out when we went straight for main course and didn't want a starter. I asked for a low alcohol beer and was given a beer that was 5 percent which to me isn't really that low! We had to flag down a member of staff to ask for the bill and was then left sitting there for ten minutes before we had to ask again before we got it. We gave a tip, lower than we would normally give because of the bad service and didn't get any kind of thankful, the waiter seemed happy to get rid of us. It wasn't particularly busy and there was adequate staff so no real reason for such poor service. I have to say, the food was outstanding but completely let down by a lack of care from staff. As we looked around (we had plenty of time to look around) we could see that other people were waiting considerable time to be served and we saw people receiving their food before others who had ordered before them. The prices were quite expensive which I don't necessarily mind but in which case I do expect a good level of service and to be made welcome. I received neither and would not go back and would...

I rarely give 5/5, but this was exceptional. Not perfect, but I left very happy and would happily come back.

🌕 Cauliflower cacio e pepe - star of the show. Initially wasn't impressed by the shaved cauliflower bits on top. I had low expectations: nice restaurants in Rome and Florence didn't have good pasta (the cheap lunch places did). Pasta was cooked perfectly. Large portion.

🌓 Croquettes - tasty, but lukewarm. I didn't ask my waiter to reheat.

🌒 Fried cauliflower - suggest skipping. The menu didn't say they were fried, but that's fine. I also didn't realize cauliflower was in 2/3 dishes 😂 It was fried and battered well, but my issue is the sauce. The flavor profile is Vietnamese. In hindsight, it's obvious. It's basically Vietnamese hoisin spring roll sauce-the sweetness, color, texture, same. And there wasn't enough! 😭 I ate the last 4 pieces with no sauce. Not impressed.

✅ Good value. My bill was ~35€ (no alcohol). In Chicago, I'd pay 60€ for the same thing. ✅ Nice decor, atmosphere, great music. Perfect for a date or night out. ✅ Staff was friendly, spoke English, and food came quick. Multiple people came to check on my food, cleared plates. All very nice. ✅ Got seated immediately 9pm on a Friday. The restaurant...

Truly enjoyed my evening here, it was delicious and was very glad to eat all vegan and enjoy the food so much. The ambience is cozy, elegant and modern at the same time. The staff was very quick, helpful and precise. However the entrée with the mushroom and eggplant I was definitely expecting a bit more. I feel like it needed something else in there to give it more texture and not just purely the mushiness of the eggplant and chewiness of the mushroom, these textures without a crunch get a bit tiring after a while, especially since the plate is quite large for an entrée.

Following I had the Jack fruit tacos and these were the star of the night. Delicious tacos, presented in a stylish way and so so yummy. To end I had the pasta which I couldn’t resist to order although I was already a bit full. However the flavors were excellent, I loved the macadamia sauce, but when I read sweet potato tagliatelle I am expecting tagliatelle, not raw or blanched sweet potato strips… although they were tasty but tbh I think a nice real sweet potato tagliatelle without the egg, could have been better.

Overall I definitely suggest this restaurant for anyone who’s interested in vegan options or is a true vegan, you will enjoy it, I...

An aesthetically pleasing ambience with suitable music (right volume and good vibes) together with yummy food makes your experience complete. Menu is compact, which means they focus on dishes they know how to do. Cocktail menu is refreshingly different compared to the usual. Bathrooms were stylish but also clean and tidy. 183 €/6 people eating and drinking lightly. On Friday evening at 20:00 in August the place was silent, but started to get busier later. Booking is for 1 hour 45 minutes, which made catching up with 6 friends a bit rushed. Our Cuban waiter guy was very friendly, attentive, and even pushed us a bit to hurry up with the orders. His style to work was very relaxed, which was unexpected, but in a way broke the ice in the atmosphere, which one might think to be fancy and formal. Carrot cake was a bit meh, lemon cake was nice. 18 € for a pizza is quite a high price (before the pandemic it was 15,50 €) but the ingredients and taste is nice. Kimchi in the quesadillas was not noticeable or spicy, which we thought would be the thing. Would go again only for a special reason (with vegan, vegetarian or celiac foodie friends for new experiences) but will not be on my regular list of restaurants when going out.
