Vegan Mount | Barcelona — Restaurant in Barcelona

I really do not like talking poorly about a restaurant especially coming from a family that ran restaurants for more than half of their lives. But I have to be honest and tell you I would not go back here.

The food was edible, the hummus wasn't bad but man... It just felt like they couldn't decide what they wanted to be. The curry didn't have any curry flavor. It just tasted like tomato and oil. The tofu was honestly just not good. I don't want to rip on this place. There's probably some good food here, but what I ordered from the medium level tapas combo as well as the curry was just not good.

We had told the guy that we were considering doing a to-go order but we hadn't confirmed it yet. He went ahead and just made it anyway so we had to pay for something that we didn't necessarily want.

Highly recommend this restaurant if you are a vegan! We were craving something fresh and hearty after we landed in the Barcelona and this restaurant checked all our boxes in terms of flavor, quantity and freshness.

the summer breeze is an incredibly surprisingly punchy little salad. For how simple it seemed, it really hit the spot for me and had a bit of complexity to it while being completely fresh ingredients.

I also enjoyed the momo mixto with a combo of momos, seitan and tofu in a delicious sauce. There is something to be said about their seitan - it is just so fluffy and absorbs the sauce so well. I have never eaten seitan quite like it before.

We came here on a whim as we had a gig nearby. We hadn't seen this place on any lists of 'where to eat vegan' in Barcelona but it absolutely should be! We stayed in Barcelona for five days and we kept talking about this place the entire time, using it as a point of reference for other more 'popular' restaurants that we honestly feel fell short of Vegan Mount. The menu is extensive, providing options for everyone no matter your taste, and the food was delicious. Service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere inside was calm and welcoming.
