Meat Steakhouse — Restaurant in Benalmádena

The "nachos" were the worst I have ever had, bottled quacamole and sour cream (you know that illuminous green fake guac) nacho chips themselves just poorly fried tortilla wrap

After finishing the starter I waited 70 minutes for the main, and this is where everything gets so much worse.

Ordered the brisket (this is what got me in in the first place as there is nothing better than good brisket)

I was presented with 5 blackened slices of beef, covered in a really bad gravy, they claim this is smoked for 16 hours, there was no smoke ring on it at all (first red flag) the burned slices of poor beef had a thin layer of that terrible gravy on it (second red flag) this told me that this beef was dry and they were trying to mask it with the gravy (smoked brisket will be juicy and tender) this beef was like rubber, I took one bite to confirm everything I already knew and said that's that and left.

In the middle of that 70 minute wait between that terrible starter and terrible main I went into the bathroom which was honestly one of the most vile bathrooms I have ever seen, and in my 20 years of hotel and restaurant experience I know that if a bathroom is filthy the kitchen is worse.

Hidden health hazzard !!!

Typically, I do not write reviews on restaurants (especially bad dones), but after eating here I decided to make an exception.

Me and my friends (5 adults + 1 child) ate in this restaurant the second day of our stay in Benalmadena.

The first impression of this place was quite neutral – as a normal place to have a quick lunch at. Also, the food looked and tasted quite OK (I had Chilli con carne quesadilla). And that is where the hidden danger lies – one would not expect to have any issues after consuming the food as it did not show any obvious signs of contamination. Only after having already consumed our lunch, did we notice a major red flag - a cockroach running accross the dining area floor !!! Mere 2 hours after the meal, my sister got voilently sick, being followed by the rest of our group, who developed milder, yet still very unpleasant symptoms of food poisoning, which lasted for several days.

We informed about this incident the restaurant staff, but unfortunately, the attitude was to sweep our concerns under the rug and stop all the communication. I would not take the chance eating in this place again and would not reccommend it to others either. Spending 3 days of holidays feeling ill is simply...

Went here last night ordered drinks and fillet steaks (medium rare after waiting over 40 minutes we had finished our drinks and still no food, or been asked if we wanted any more drinks,In the end i ask why it was taking so long, they came back with the insulting answer we are really busy, and that it would be here in 5 minutes, so I pointed out that some guys came in about 10 mins after us and had been served and finished there meal and they also had steak, again I got there really busy, so as far as im concerned they was lying to cover the fact wed been forgotten, well after waiting an hour to get our food we thought this better be good and on appearance it looked good but unfortunately the steak was rare not medium rare, probably Because then they rushed it and didn't leave the steak to rest,at this point we just wanted the bill and to get out of there.id had enough, Oh they did try and sweeten us up with free shots on the house which we totally refused, all in all really poor service for the price paid, the whole poor service spoiled the entire night, Needless to say we would not recommend going there and we defo...
