The Steak House restaurant is on the Puerto Marina in Benalmadena. It is in a line of 4 steak restaurants directly leading on to the others in the Gallery there so you need to make sure you go into the correct premises.

It is beautifully situated overlooking the Marina, such a marvellous view of the water and the boats. The restaurant is pretty, it is clean and bright and the staff are very polite, friendly and professional, attentive without being intrusive and with amazing attention to detail, they make sure that you have what you need.

We went for the meal on 13 October 2022 after a walk from Torremolinos along the Paseo Maritimo so we were ready to eat when we got there.

We both had fillet steaks that were superb, tender and perfectly cooked. The Steak House literally raised the bar on quality, quite frankly they were the best we had ever eaten and we have eaten a lot of them. Beautifully cooked with a good choice of potatoes, jacket, mashed or new potatoes and we chose an extra salad to share.

Our meal was definitely the best of the holiday, it was was used to be called ‘an excellent all round eating experience’ because the food, wine, service and ambience were exemplary. It was no surprise that the restaurant filled up quickly and the manager, staff and chefs all deserve their success.

We had pre-booked this restaurant as is the case at the marina. We came here last year, same time, same people - myself, my wife, daughter and five year old granddaughter. We turned up before our time and were shown to our table by the manic front of house. We ordered drinks a short time after, and then my granddaughter became ill. She was taken to the toilet where she was sick, and then came back to the table. We then ordered our meals, and as soon as this was done, my granddaughter was ill again and had to go back to the toilet to be sick again. We then decided that we would need to cancel our meal. Bearing in mind we had placed our order literally one minute previously, when I explained to front of house our situation, his attitude was disgraceful. His response was to fly around and find out if it was possible to cancel - I explained that we had just that minute ordered and apologised, but he just huffed and ignored me, and after a couple of minutes in limbo he presented me with the drinks bill, which obviously I expected to pay for. I can honestly say I have never been treated as badly in any establishment and will not be returning here as there are many great restaurants around the marina where they actually treat you...

Let’s kick this off to when my family first arrived we had booked a table specifically for a view looking on to the marina 6 days prior (I have been a regular customer of this establishment for years and had a good relationship with the man that seats u, Valentino) however they had just gave some other larger group other specific table we had asked for the man also had an attitude this night and could not even look me and my family in the eye. Now moving on to the food if you could even call it that it was more like the trimmings off a overweight cows behind pure fat and when we requested a new steak the man that was serving us was kind enough to give us one but that’s the only compliment I can give when the other steak arrived the rest of my family where finished. When we got the bill they had they had the audacity to charge me for one refused steak and one that took longer than a week in prison the waiter then proceeded to show aggression to the waitress and my mother and father felt quite intimidated .
