Orient Palace — Restaurant in Benalmádena

Reviews seem quite varied. Personally myself and my partner enjoyed this food more than any other while we were there on vacation. This was very surprising as we went around trying to find nice places to eat. Then on a whim we thought let's try a Chinese, best decision ever.

Personally it is the best Chinese I have ever had and would come back to Spain just for this food, which I plan to do in the near future.

The place was quiet when we went, so this may be why the experience and food was excellent. The waiter was polite and engaging. Food was amazing and service excellent. I honestly can't fault it.

I had black pepper chicken, rice that was recommended by waiter and some squidgy dough things. For the life of me I can't remember what the rice was and I've searched around so I can try to make my own. No luck so far, which is why I'll be back to find out 😅

Honestly food can be hit and miss in Spain. Myself and my partner went to a nice restaurant for a posh date night, which was terrible. How someone can make a double burger with one patty well done and the other rare I have no idea, that is quite some talent.

This place cost us less than half the amount as the other place and I can't rate it highly enough. That being said when we go back I hope it maintains its standards.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Visited whilst on holiday 26 May. Ordered 2 vegetable spring roles as a starter. When served they were both still frozen in the middle so we sent them back and ordered mixed hoeurves instead, which were just ok. My wife then ordered Prawns as a main and I ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken. The sauce was very runny but chicken seemed ok. The following day, went to the toilet 7 times and didn't eat anything all day, just drank plenty of water and went to the pharmacy for some diarrhoea tables. On 28 May we were due to fly home to UK. Still felt unwell and again didn't eat anything. Made it to the airport but fainted whilst waiting in departure lounge. Paramedics called and I nearly ended up in hospital in Spain. Посетили этот ресторан в прошлое воскресенье. У нас было большое желание поесть японские роллы. Персонал почти совсем не говорит по-испански, обслуживание не очень дружелюбное. Сначала нас попросили выбрать напитки, заказали. Потом мы выбрали роллы и нам сказали, что это невозможно, потому что у них внимание!!! закончился рис!!! Воскресенье, конец недели закончился рис! 🙉 Мы были шокированы, но решили остаться, так как нам уже принесли напитки и мы были голодны. Выбрали корейские роллы и утку в апельсиновом соусе. Официантка приняла заказ, но потом вернулась, чтобы сообщить, что утка не идёт с гарниром, его нужно заказывать отдельно. Я спросила, какие гарниры есть и что лучше взять к утке из того, что у них имеется. И мне предложили !!!снова внимание!!! Рис!!!😆 На что я заметила, что ведь рис закончился, официантка смущенно согласилась, что да, риса нет, тогда я сказала, ну значит без гарнира. Когда мы уходили, люди за другим столиком, пришедшие после нас, еще раз внимание!!! ели рис.))) Из плюсов: интерьер внутри приятный, утка была очень вкусная. Visitamos este restaurante el domingo pasado. Teníamos muchas ganas de comer unos rollos japoneces. El personal habla español casi nada, el servicio no era muy amable. Primero nos pidieron elegir la bebida, la pedimos. Luego elegimos unos rollos, nos dijeron que era imposible pq ¡¡¡Atención!!! Se acabó el arroz! 🙈 pq era domingo, fin de semana, el arroz se acabó. Estábamos choqueados pero decidimos quedarnos pq ya teníamos bebida y mucha hambre. Pedimos unos rollos koreyanos y un pato en salsa de naranja 🍊. La camarera aceptó el pedido y volvió dentro de un rato avisando que el pato venía con guarnición ninguna, que debíamos pedirla aparte. Yo pregunté que guarniciones habían y que normalmente venía con el pato, que nos aconsejaría. Y me respondió que ¡¡¡Atención de nuevo!!! El arroz!!!😆 Le comenté que según ella el arroz no había!!! Se acordó poniéndose vergonzosa y nos confirmó que si, que no había arroz. Pues sin guarnición le dije.
