Bar kaleido Puerto Marina — Restaurant in Benalmádena

Went to this cocktail bar at night for some drinks and this is my overall opinion of it:

Price: 4.5/5 - all the cocktails cost is the same 10.95€ (some cocktails are bigger than others that’s why I think the prices are a little bit too high for the smaller ones)

Cocktails: 5/5 - my friends and I got a variety of cocktails from the menu and all of them were pretty good and very well presented. In the cocktail menu you could see a photo of the cocktails along with the ingredients of it.

Attendance: 5/5 - the waiters are pretty quick with the orders, once they hand you the cocktails they will bring the bill not long after they served you. Also, they are very nice people.

Ambience: 4/5 - my friends and I were seated outside of the bar so we couldn’t hear the music well since the DJ was inside but the ambience in the terrace is pretty chill since it is situated near the port and therefore, the sea. If you are lucky you could get a very nice place either indoors or outdoors.

Location: 5/5 - My friends and I were staying at Benalmádena which is very near this cocktail bar that is situated in the Puerto Marina, a very interesting place to visit if you are looking for restaurants and cocktail bars, and also...

Very very disappointed. I came here with a friend and we ordered two cocktails. First they forgot one of them, no issue. We waited. The waiter handing us the one drink rolled his eyes at us when I tried to clarify that we wanted the second cocktail they still had to make, stronger, like the first one.

There was no language barrier as I am from here. This was very rude. Shortly after receiving our drinks (say 10-20 seconds) the bill was on our table. We had not asked for the bill yet. This is very disrespectful and inhospitable. They did not do this to other tables and they were not closing.

We got up to use the bathroom and left our drinks at the table (table, not bar. Low table outside). We were gone approximately 2 minutes. When we returned, the table had been cleared (our drinks were not finished) and someone else was seated.

Disappointing Experience with a Rude Host

We had high hopes for Kaleido, but our experience was ruined by the incredibly rude host. We arrived only to be met with dismissive and unwelcoming behavior. Despite the restaurant having empty tables, the host outright refused to accommodate us, citing some vague excuse about their policy. They made no effort to suggest alternatives or offer a solution, treating us as if we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Simply terrible employees.

The lack of professionalism and hospitality was shocking, especially for a place that claims to prioritize customer experience. We left feeling unwelcome and disrespected. If you’re planning a night out with a larger group, don’t bother with Kaleido—they clearly don’t care about providing...
