La Ballena Azul — Restaurant in Benidorm

Basically very bad waiters. I went there with my parents today. We were given the menus (after we were given a dirty look when the waiters asked if we wanted a spanish or an english menu, which we responded with english). She asked if we wanted drinks first, which my mother responded for her to wait a moment because we JUST received the menus. In the next 20 minutes the waiter proceeded to ignore us while going around at other tables. She was not busy. There were only three other tables to serve and two more waiters aside from her. Honestly cannot believe the negative reviews on here!

We visited here twice during our 5 night holiday. Very friendly staff, prompt service with a good menu choice.

Cocktails are 8 euros and are provided in a large glass.

Pizzas, burgers, chicken, spag bol all on the menu. I had the chicken breast on both occasions as it was so tasty, this is served with fries and a side salad! I found the portions filling and found it good value for money.

Will never comeback and will never recommend this restaurant. Bad service, good looking but bad taste food. My husband had fish and chips and the battered fish was just filled with big bones. The waiter was so disrespectful and told us that is a fish, it should have a bone. Well I told him that I am an asian and your chicken satay sauce is too sweet to pair with the chicken skewers, your sauce is too sweet like a dessert. Never enjoyed that food. So disappointing for our first ever meal in benidorm. Bad food...
