Sol Beach — Restaurant in Benidorm

An amazing place, located seconds away from the beach. The portions were well sized, and happy hour was decent (Pina Colada/Strawberry Daiquiri €6 each, all pints €2.50, and a few other bits that we didn’t take advantage of)

Hardly any wait on food, super attentive without feeling like we were being lurked on

Atmosphere was great, had music, pool table and a tv displaying at the time sports - so not too loud and provided a relaxed atmosphere.

Only downside was there wasn’t much of a breeze and couples that had sat down before us arriving were taking up seating for 6 people, so although I do prefer a relaxed atmosphere it did provide slight difficulty in getting our group of 8 (6 adults and 2 children) seated at our initial arrival.

There’s no a/c inside but there are fans so if you get your choice of tables you can sit near one and it did seem to make all the difference (from what I could tell)

We were given a complimentary tequila rose shot and wristbands for our return (which meant we would receive happy hour prices for our next visit regardless of time)

Happy hour is across 2 parts of the day 12-2 (I believe) and then 5pm-8pm which was when we were there.

Nice little spot to recover from the night before. Sat right on the beach front, this looks out over the Benidorm beach and offers a good range of food and drink.

I ordered a pizza which was ok but my god there was a lot of cheese - more cheese than base! To be honest, less cheese is just my personal preference as I know a lot of people would go wild for it but just a bit heavy for me.

What they do have though is a very good iced coffee which is more like a dessert! Sorted out the hangover nicely.

We were originally served by a male waiter who wasn’t the most welcoming but a lady took over towards the end and she was very pleasant.

Not one of the cheapest places in Benidorm to eat and drink but not exactly expensive. They did have some cocktails for about €5-6 euros which is pretty reasonable but beer was about €3-€4 depending on what beer.
