Outback Aussie Sportsbar — Restaurant in Benidorm

Went to watch Burnley football play today with my children and family. My son is 12 and 13 years of age and love burnley football. We planned all holiday to watch the football here. Sign outside said children 12 and over able to go in. My son is small in statue like his mum me. We were turned away and the people were not open to discussion and see his passport. They were rude. We didn't want to make a deal of it as my son would be upset. Me and my sister in law took the kids out of the bar peaceful and not to draw attention, leaving the older adults to watch the football. The older adults however were refused , although we took the children out. I find this behaviour very wrong in many ways. Not only did I feel embarrassed, having this done in front of lots of people and my family but to also have the other members refused is appalling. The lady behind thebar!!! I came here as an Australian wanting to support a local business, but I was shocked by how I was treated. The lady at the bar started arguing with me just because I’m blonde and blue-eyed. She assumed I was Russian and said horrible things, including that I wasn’t welcome. I’m of Slavic background many generations back, but I do not support the war — I simply came for a drink like anyone else. To be spoken to this way, judged and insulted for how I look, was deeply hurtful. No one should face that kind of discrimination. As I have already posted on another review site, I am sure that once able to actually gain access to this bar, it is fine, but it was permanently closed during my recent week in Benidorm, in spite of daily notices in the window stating it would be open next day, and my phone saying "open", communication therefore appalling, and "out of season, lack of punters" excuses given by owners not good enough as plenty of other bars were busy!
